I'm glad people are jumping on board with these now but i'm curious, why the change of heart? When the 701 was revealed everyone seemed to scoff at them…

i just think & thought folks wouldn't really purchase them.  i thought/think it is always better to get exactly what folks are asking for as opposed to having a bunch of these in stock on the shelves & no one buying them until you do a fire sale.  i still say don't stock them. just do them by request.

then again i do tend to stand by what i say & admit when i'm out of line 

so maybe i was wrong on the 701s   i did try to get a pair what seems like many, many moons ago.  & just like i said with the 701s take of the freckin' side pockects & sell them as a heavy work pant.

Maybe the ultra heavy material makes it more interesting to people? Price would be interesting, I think in the first pictures (can't find em now) there was something like 24,900 Yen or something. So from Giles it'll maybe be something about 350-400$? But that's just wild guessing…

It was "22oz Extra Heavy" that sold me on them! Are the 701 the same material? I thought they were lighter.

Much lighter, but that's partially why i like them… good alternative to the heavier denim during the summer I think these 22oz are going to be amazing and EVERYONE should buy a pair (or 3) heh

We had major issues making these, like we couldn't make them…...  Haraki had to get some new processes sorted out in the factory which of course necessitated him doing his 10 our drive to Kojima.  He's fixed the issues and he expects to be able to ship early Dec.....

Yes, but late this month due to the problems we had with production.  That Haraki, he pushes the edge of the envelope…...

Sounds good. I'm looking forward to getting these, so I can rotate them thru spring with the new TWHR01 I just got. The TWHR01 are my first denim since the mid-90s and now I understand why Works Inc gear is the best.  Keep it up and keep it comin'.

G, do you know if there will be any 38s?  Per your earlier post, I think I want these a little looser than my denim.
