I haven't noticed any stretch, even the thighs are still snug and that's the tightest part w/ my fit.

I don't think mine have stretched.  They fit pretty much perfect straight away.  Getting on and off the bike hasn't changed at all.  That's a pretty good indicator.

The 25 oz. fabric is something else… It really is... The darkness, weight, stifness, stubborness... After about 10 wears in mine, I refuse to wear anything else during the day...

You owe it to yourself to try.  Just tell her that your real xmas wish is a perfectly broken in pair of jeans, which can only be achieved by a strenuous period of grueling, ball chafing daily wear that you will in no way enjoy or look forward too.  Tell her it hurts you more than it hurts her.  If that doesn't work, buy a sex doll that looks a little like you and dress it in your normal clothes, then wear the new jeans around town.

Worst case scenario, you end up with a sex doll.

Thanks guys. They still feel pretty damn thick and sturdy. No abrasions or bruises as of now. Hoping that it will soften up after a week or 2.
