So, here is the gig on the fabric.

It is exactly the same weight and construction as last years Ultra Heavy Wight Flannel (IHSH-32).  But obviously there is no pattern in this version of the fabric.

The warp and the weft are slightly different colours which gives the fabric great depth of colour.  This costs more and is more risky to make than a conventional solid colour but Haraki wanted to create an original fabric.

The fabric may feel slightly different to the IHSH-32, as the end result of the weaving is also dependent upon how the loom is behaving on the day the fabric is woven.

Do these have the same button holes as the IHW-01?

No, the flannel is not quite as thick as the Melton, so we used "normal" shirting button holes…..

Are the arms narrower than usual? Are the arms on the western version fuller?

so I would need to size up one if layering with another flannel?

Possibly yes, depends on the size of your forearm.
