After a solid year in the 634s, I've decided to put some work into a different pair. Thus, my current rotation is:
Samurai S5000-GXK
Yeah, that's pretty much it.

My rotation plan (thanks to the HWDC) is to keep wearing the Busters every day until the end of January. From then on I will rotate between my Samurai and the Busters on a monthly basis until the competitions end. This will give both jeans the exact same amount of actual wear time, for comparison purposes.
After the comp ends, I have decided to purchase a couple of new jeans with the most "interesting" denim. So far I'm thinking 666 25oz, and some Jins.

How much stretch did you notice on the 9634Z? And how rigid do they feel opposed to the 634S?
I am wearing my LVC 44 after some months today. Feels great, I hate low rise jeans lately. And my snug fitting 634SB kills me afetr some hours.

Until I tried them on.
I would say sz36 is an out of the box comfortable size for me, but I've learned the art of sizing down to a 34 in a lot of jeans. The black armor bitches only button somehow buttoned when I tried them on, then zipped up fine(edit). I mean they were muffintop tight, but after putting them on the back of one of my chairs all night they fit great now. So I don't know man, I forced the stretch a lot. So, there is give there but I'm sure if you wash them regularly(which apparently you can do) they will stay tight. I would say sizing down is a must though. My 634S's are like butter, and not like that "I Can't Believe its Not Butter" bullshit, I mean like the real fattening good stuff. 9634Z's feel like they are super bomb proof and after a bit of sweat and tears will be a little softer, but not as much.actual measurement now is about 36

If your 9634 have buttons, they are not the 9634Z (zipper), they are the OG version which is made out of stiffer denim than the 9634Z….You have the IH-9634......
Button, sorry. Single button, with a zipper.

Having spent the whole of 2011 chasing jeans and sending them back, I just got a very kind email to say that the very last pair I was chasing for this year was not available in my measurements (or lack of them) and I'm gutted.
So my rotation (as I've exhausted every brand this year) until 2012 when I start looking again stops at:
Timothy Everest 14oz BluexBlack Japanese jeans
Diesel Jegonfire biker style - probably end up as pjs in winter
Nudies Tight Long John in BlackBlack
3sixteen+ 14oz dark indigo - 2 identical pairsAt least all 5 fit so I can rotate and I guess not having found my "dream" jeans yet gives me a reason to carry on until 2012, when I can start looking again.
Can't even post fades pics as I have no IH
