I've ordered three pairs of the same Wallabees from three different big (and reliable) online shops over the last weeks and the quality of all three pairs was simply atrocious. I was hoping I just caught a bad pair by accident the first time but all the following pairs were even worse. The leather is thin, dry, abraded with marks and deep scuffs everywhere. Not to mention the left and right shoe don't match in colour at all. I'm even surprised those pairs got through QC (if there is any at all) and I would be ashamed trying to sell them for their outrageously high MSRP. It's like a very bad joke! To be fair they are comfy but they also don't leave the impression they will last long given their poor leather quality.

I got a pair of Wallabees about a year and a half ago and though they weren't as bad as what you're describing, the quality is notably worse. I kept them and they've been fine, but definitely not as good as previous pairs I've owned over the years. Also oddly they seem to fit smaller—I wear a size 13 and my toe is right at the end, almost to the point of the shoes being too small.

I hope they get their shit together. Not being too optimistic, though 😢

It was the Beeswax version and I gave up on it and ordered a suede one (Cola). The quality is much better than on the previous shoes, not amazingly great as there are some minor scuffs here and there but definitely worth keeping them. I've also snagged them for a good price so I'm sticking with them and will look out for suede ones only in the future. Regarding sizing I'm usually a US10.5 (EUR44) and googled how to size on them. The guys at Snake Oil Provisions stock them and recommend a half size down or the same size as one would wear in Converse. Since I'm a US10 in my Converse 70s I went for the US10 in the Wallabees and they fit like a glove.
