Mini and I visited Singapore a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Great people, very friendly, safe city which is perfect for families to visit. We particularly enjoyed the Zoo (the best we have been to, and we have been to MANY), Sentosa (perfect day out if you want to relax, or have your children with you, and the various bars and restaurants of Clarke Quay. Highly recommended destination

Okay folks, I have just put together a mini city (country) guide for Singapore. You can see it all in the first post of this thread. As I have never been to this lovely country, the information I have listed may be incorrect or incomplete. If you are from Singapore or have traveled there before and are familiar, please send me a PM with any and all corrections or additions you think would be of interest to the other forum members. Thanks for looking and hopefully you all enjoy. Cheers

Great. I'm there in Jan, that's super useful
Glad I could be of service. Hopefully over the next month or two I will be able to flesh out each city with a similar amount of information for everyone. Didn't realize how time consuming this idea would become… :o

i'll be more then happy to show you around if you'd like, giles. singapore has tons of great food for affordable prices! be prepared to gain a few extra pounds. by the way, chinese new year is on the 23rd of january. it would be a good time to make a trip down to chinatown then. it will be a great experience. -
Just_KC - Thank you. Good to know I wasn't too far off. Shoot me any and all info whenever you get a chance and I will add it to the list.

there's suntec city mall where there is an official red wing outlet if you're interested. http://www.sunteccitymall.com
and, of course there's the marina bay sands, which pretty much is a casino + hotel + shopping centre all in one. http://www.marinabaysands.com
mainly high end fashion and celebrity chef restaurants such as wolfgang puck, daniel boulud etc.
apparently from what i've heard, evisu is opening an outlet there soon.
