Opps! But still, I expected it to be way thicker than my shitty UBs… so it's all good. especially when you wear it in 32degree celsius heat all year round...

orly, that is a perfect starting fit.  They will stretch to fit your body.  The 18oz denim is like that

Received these today, amazing service as usual. 33W - I can get them on, with top button fastened as most others. Seem OK around the leg. Nervous about soaking though, any recommendations, how tight pre-soak should they be for an exchange for 34w?

Very - and you will believe it is an impossibility to start with.  When you soak them, just do it in tepid water to minimise the initial shrinkage…..G

I soaked them in cold water for 2 hours.

Relax everyone.  My waist also stretched out quite a bit and I've only had them for about 3 weeks or something.
