@adam313:
I agree. It's like soccer and golf, they are just sports that are more enjoyable to play than to watch.
I thing any sport is more enjoyable to play. I can easily spend a weekend watching 5/6 football games. I can just about manage an hour of baseball…I guess it's down to influence, what you grew up with and have played.
I only like women beach volleyball…
Good choice…

The tribute scene in Clerks 2 is hilarious. Sorta disturbing, but hilarious.
EDIT: To keep the thread from totally derailing and to keep the question theme intact, I ask you this:
My wife was surfing the channel listings and mentioned that there is a show on Animal Planet called "Puppies vs Babies". What does it say about me that my first thought was that it's some sort of Thunderdome style cage match between the puppies and babies? And that if it is, I'd actually consider watching it? -

Do you all think we will have over 100 people on here tommorow with Melton cocaine landing?
-
I'm guessing that it will be the most popular item in fit pics for the next couple of weeks
-
^^

I have wondered this quite some time?
Why do people buy motorcycle clothes, especially jackets when they don't actually ride??
'cos they look good isn't the answer I'm looking for.Posers?? wanna-be bad boys? The image the black leather gives to others…(well, that is the bad boy thingy, I guess)
Please explain so that this simple soul understands?

Why do people buy deck jackets when they dont work on an aircraft carrier?
Why do people buy Everest parkas when they'll never go above the snow line?
Why do people wear board shorts when they can't/don't surf?
Why do I wear painters pants when I'm not a painter?
And I could go on for hours. The simple point is that there is a point in history where stuff derived from, we steal the look because we like it/it suits us/or whatever. Quite frankly it matters not a feck.
No group of people "own" a look, despite what they may think.

Same reason as people who don't, and never have skated wear Supreme, same reason as people wear running shoes with jeans, or logging boots when they're not loggers. Unfortunately "because they look good" might not be the answer that you're looking for IJ, but it is the answer.
