Well they feel a hell of a lot stiffer, like putting on cardboard at first but I think they'll soften given some wear. Oh and they are already making the back of my knees a bit sore, all's good though! 

I would also add that it's a brave man who chooses the 666 cut in this denim!

So other than being heavier than the 21oz do they differ in any other way, and can anyone do a shot of these and the 21's post soaked on a scale??

No just popped them straight on! I've only owned them for about four hours.

I can't really stress enough that the 25oz is nothing like it's older brother 21oz 634s yes they are cut from the same pattern but because of the fabric it ended up slightly different.

and as for the fabric, completely different texture/feel all together. So many time do you see heavy jeans just like their regular line but heavier this I promise is not.

Normally a company would just use thicker yarn which = heavier denim but Haraki must have completely re calibrated the shuttle loom especially for this denim.

they are a tad looser than my 634S, but that is nothing I'm worried about and yes the denim is amazing, but I know that before

I think I will be extra happy with my 21/23 634's then. (supposing they shrink to same meas. as 21oz. is)

I have IJ but they are away at the moment having the button hole repaired.

could you do measurements when you get them back. I'd like to see if they differ. What's your gut feeling about this?

Yes can do, my gut feeling is that the XHS are a little looser, a bit difficult to tell though as the stiffness of the denim does make them feel quite different.

I'm hoping the Annies will be back next week.
