Compared to 634S, those 634XHS look a bit wider.

Sorry, that was me - I though hem=inseam and leg=leg opening, now G tells me it’s the other way around.  Sorry, this means we have lots of inconsistency on the website, will get fixed in due course and relabelled to avoid confusion! (Even if it’s just internal confusion here at IHUKHQ!)

Can someone confirm some hem math of mine?  Total length from waist to end would be the front-rise + leg.  If I want the 634-XHS to be the same length as my 634S, and the XHS has a 11.3" front-rise versus my 634S' 10.5" rise, I would want to have the leg length be .8" shorter on the XHS, due to the higher rise.  Does that sound right?

The measurements are for inside leg Paul I don't think the extra rise comes into it, I could be wrong though so best wait for someone more knowledgeable than I to answer!

Paul the rise doesn't change the length of your leg it just sits higher on your waist. Unless you low ride your pants then I don't want to know you….

I hope and pray I've got it right, my 9634z' are 34 and are fine, my 634sr' are 35.5 and a bit long but I'm happy with them so I've gone for 34.5.

What an I worrying about of course they'll be fine!

My 634S are 34" long, and I'm double-cuffing.  I asked G to hem the XHS to 33.5".  I'm thinking that if they shrink a whole inch, i'll have a 1.5" single cuff, which I'm fine with.  I'm thinking they'll shrink maybe half an inch.  Honestly, my 634S haven't shrunk much.

I'm gonna be thinking about this non-stop until I actually see them, I know it

They won't shrink an inch, but take some length into account for the honeycombs/ settling of the jeans… At 25 oz, they'll even need some more room than the 634S'es me thinks...

Yeah, I figured since these will be a bit looser on me (got a size 34 instead of my 33 634S), that more combs will form.  And with them being 25oz combs, they'll take up more slack.
