    There's always a chance, but It'll only happen if Haraki decides to make the denim and stock it domestically.

      I'm thinking about picking up a pair of 634s for Christmas this year, but I have kind of a dumb question so bear with me. I currently own a pair of DC4s and although I love them, I was looking for a slightly fuller cut and slightly higher rise. I sized down for my DC4s and I'm glad I did and probably will again for this pair (for the waist if nothing else). So, my question is even though I've looked at the sizing on both cuts, are the 634s going to be visually different enough from the DC4s to warrant owning both OR should I save a little more and get something completely different like the 1955s?

        if you are going for a completely different cut  i would get the 55s . . . but that's just me.  put your question in the small question thread for more "traction" as G likes to say.

          That is why I went with another brand instead of buying a pair of "oversized" Busters (33 instead of 32)… Already have 634S y'see... I do however think that the DC and the 634S jeans are different enough... If you really want something completely different, just buy a skirt...

              I'm no expert, but I would recommend measuring your current favorite jeans, DC4s, and comparing that to the 1955S (which has a higher rise than the 634S), and then comparing it to the 634S.  Make sure you measure your DC4s the same way Giles measures IH jeans.

                the rise of the dc4 is too low ( have one myself) and the rise of the 55 will be to high. id say stick with the 634 of buy a pair ov oversized buster/666.

                  Yeah, the 1955S rise was too high for me.  Just figure out how much more rise you want based on what you have, and find a pair of pants that matches that.

                      @Monday

                      Oh, my bad, I thought I had addressed his question by asking him to measure his current fave and look for something that G has that is slightly bigger than that, where he wants it bigger (rise).

                      You're right, though, looking back he was asking for a comparison between the DC4s and the 634S.  I can't help there, then, sorry, I don't have a pair of DC4s.

                      Hope I didn't confuse you further 🙂

                          then we´ll try again 😉

                          @Anesthetist:

                          I was looking for a slightly fuller cut and slightly higher rise.

                          then you´ve just found you dream jeans. have both and the 634b is the dc4 with a higher rise (just a normal rise, dc4 is just ridiculous low..) and fuller all around cut (not baggy though).

                          -> go for them!

                          @Anesthetist:

                          I sized down for my DC4s and I'm glad I did and probably will again for this pair (for the waist if nothing else).

                          so you sized down from your normal jeans size in your dc4 and are fine with it - just to unterstand?

                          if so, i believe you could size down 1 more in the 634 (1 size, 34 ->33 , not 2 ..) but you don´t have to.

                            This is solid advice. Listen to this man. I personally am not a fan of sizing down though but 634S can take it.

                            (@ SimonQ - where is your avatar pic from? It rings a faint bell in my memory (some sort of weird cartoon) but I cant remember?)

                              Thanks everyone for all the great advice! Just to clarify, I had sized down from a 34 -> 33 for my DC4s because I wanted a good slim fit. At first I thought I made a big mistake but after a month of wear they fit perfectly. Long story short, I think I'll give the 634s a try and save the 1955s for my next big purchase. Or…maybe a pair of Busters...someone tell me this eventually gets easier!

                                  I agree …the 634s is Haraki´s signature piece - and it should be in ur wardrobe..
                                  I am not super familiar with the dc4001 cut - but it´s safe to say that 634s can be sized down 1 , generally speaking.

                                  In other words - if ur true waist is a 34 - you can get the 634s in 33. Or a pair of Busters in 34

                                  We can do anything

                                    Hello all,

                                    I'm about to order a pair but would like a little advice on sizing.

                                    I normally wear 34 levis that are a little on the tight side when new but stretch perfectly. Have just measured a couple of pairs and they are coming out at 36 inches to 36.25 inches. I don't like jeans loose so should I be ordering 34 or 36?

                                    I don't want to have to turn them up. Any off the shelf jeans with 32inch leg fit perfectly so what length should I have them tailored too?

                                    Would appreciate some advice

                                      Go for a 34, we'll look for the largest we have here before shipping.  They'll be tight for a while, but you will eventually force them into submission.  Go for 32.5 inseam…...

                                        Brilliant thank you, the biggest you can find in a 34 would be great.

                                        How much do you charge for altering the inseam to 32.5 inches?
