i'm planning to order a pair of these viberg service boots but i've never tried a pair of vibergs on before and don't know anywhere in the uk that i could. i'm a uk size 10.5, what size should i order in these?

I see that the fashion wears out more apparel than the man.

i sized down half a size in a pair of bobcats & they fit great.  i guess you can wait for more folks to weigh in as i'm sure the last the boot is done on makes all the difference in the size that would work for you.

a better option might be to send an email to the viberg folks:

            viberg@workboot.com

they are pretty responsive & helpful. might of, could of, put this question in random questions or even in the viberg thread  😠

I'm a US 13 and I sized down to a 12 in the short shift boot. Still plenty of room for a thick sock.

are you saying that because you don't see the stitching running all the way around? it has a full welt, the stitching that goes all the way around is deeper and is hidden between layers when it gets the back. look closely at the front and you will see two row of stitching. I dont have a pair but i can tell from pics the Vibergs are tops.

And i need the soles to be much more durable than the regular Red Wings Crepe Sole, I worn those out within a year.

And where can i resole these with the leather ones when they are eventually worn out?

^Those for sale seem to have the herald sole which is the same sole you'll find on the IH collab, should be more durable than the crepe sole (though personally I'm not a fan of the herald) …

would be dope, cuz these are exact the boots i`m aiming for to be my next pair…

Just agreed with Haraki that these will be the next Iron Heart/Viberg collaboration (don't worry, we have not forgot the black.black scout boot).

They will be offered in 2 versions, the Vibram Herald Sole and the Honey Lug sole.

The only change between the images below and the production version is that the Iron Heart/Viberg stamp will be on the inside of the ankle and not the outside.

Just working out pricing, but they will be available in Late February/early March and will be made to pre-order.  50% down and 50% when complete.
