forgive the below in advance
what do you all think of a thread for the must have Iron Heart products for this season? it's sooo much stuff all over that i kind of forget about what is coming & what i want/do not want until i go searching through the forum? the thread can just be a spot to put all the new products & maybe a poll for fun to see what all are really watching & what folks aren't really excited about. in a few months/years it's always cool to go back & look just to see how attitudes have changed & if the items that everyone wanted are now classic items or if the item that no one was excited about turned around & became break out hits.
got to give it some more thought . . . maybe/maybe not

+1, go for it.

seul I thought you had decided to go exclusively iron heart?
I'd go with another pair of Busters but to have a slimmed down 634S ànd a pair of Busters seems kinda pointless plus the legopening on the Busters is too big… The 666S'es are too slim... 301 have too much taper…
But either way I'm holding out on making a(ny) decision until my 634S'es come back... If the fit is how I really want it, then I probs won't buy a 2nd pair completely... Just switch with my 801s now and then... And maybe 9634Z - although the superblack isn't good to work in... I don't mind getting my jeans dirty, but you see every bit of dust and dirt on these... I do plan on wearing them as much as possible outside of work though... Such unbelievably cool jeans...
And monday: do it!.. Would come in handy and would contribute…

@Max:
DC4 will have Samurai soon…
That's great news! I guess they will be the only retailer of Sams in Europe(?)…

here at Self Edge we've been going through a LOT of the 21oz Selvedge Straight Iron Hearts, people seem to love them.
i've been wearing mine for four weeks straight, just did the soak two days ago, and for the first time in my ten years of playing with denim i saw a first.
during the cold soak ZERO of the indigo leaked, the water actually turned a funny yellowish color and the denim lost almost no color. this is from the silicon locking process that the denim goes through post production. very interesting indeed.Been reading through the first pages of the IH thread on SuFu… Is this "silicon locking process" still being used?

Injun you look much much taller than that in pictures
Should I now cry and weep…I've been 171½cm in my youth, now just a hint over 170...
If jeans get stuck under yer shoe, they're too long. Obviously, how come you didn't think of that?
just pulling your leg...

Anybody have suggestions for shopping Iron Heart in Tokyo? I am heading there for work in Oct. Also any recs for eating Kobe beef and o-toro!!!??? I'll also be looking for Samurai, Buzz Rickson and Studio d'Artisan stuff too. And some Gundam/Naruto stuff for my kids (and me too! ;D).

hinoya plus mart seems to be the spot.
heres a question/suggestion for all forum members…...
Who would be into the idea of a forum trade list? As in a list of stuff that we own, but don't necessarily wear very often or maybe ended up not really liking that we would be open to trading for something else we might like more. i'm 100% into this idea if anyone else is.

Here's some info:
@Jii:Anyone know if there is any iron heart shops in Tokyo shibuya?
There is a place in Shibuya called OT+E that has some (very little) IH gear, the topmost one on this page: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/ot-emens/shop/index.htm
Hinoya Plus Mart in Ueno (less than half an hour with the Yamanote line from Shibuya) had quite a bit of IH as well, probably the widest selection in the central Tokyo area. Only up to XL in tops though.
I strongly suggest that you take the time to visit The Works in Hachioji if you have the time for it.
Hinoya Plus Mart had loads of Buzz Rickson. Studio D'artisan has a shop of it's own in Shibuya (Web page + access map) - it's just a block or two away from Visvim which is worth checking out as well even if you're not into the brand.
Oh and both SDA and OT+E are below street level (kinda like going into a basement with) so they might be a bit hard to find. Just like just about everything else in Tokyo and Shibuya area especially
Everything (of interest) is either below or above street level with very minimal storefront decoration or signs. I must have walked past Visvim half a dozen times before I found it
I do have to say that it's very much part of the charm, I love to explore places by foot and just stumble upon some nice small shops and restaurants. It does take some time though…
God I want to go back to Japan!

Like a Have/ Want/ Tradelist?.. I'm into this…
