lax - great to hear you get things going. had a few requests as well, for some money shots…going to shoot some dog-action in a few months, when i`m back in germany again...
somehow a strange feeling when you getting paid for your hobby...first job is the hardest i think...
hopefully you`ll give us report afterwards??? -

hopefully you`ll give us report afterwards???Yeah next step is to create an online portfolio and try and promote myself. I am way nervous though, what I'm thinking is if he will like it or not.. I hope he does though. Its so strange though to be paid for what I love doing.
I will not only give a report but repost pictures of the shoot. I just hope it all goes through, waiting to hear from him but if it does you'll see another post from me.

I had the Canon S90, and now have the S95. Another camera to consider is the Panasonic LX5. I chose the Canon over the Panasonic primarily because it is even more compact. Canon also has an underwater housing available. Regardless, both are terrific cameras. A camera forum I would recommend is:

great…can`t wait for it mate
enjoy your first shooting lad...
what i think i
ll feel kinda uncomfortable about on my first session is that i don
t like to stand under pressure. since i see myself as a kinda free artist and all that...should be a new experience pour moiwell, since it was one of my friends I shot it wasn't as nerving.. Here are 2 shots I took (out of a hundred or so).
I am thinking the second one needs to be re-edited (ie. look at the records).
Here are the originals to give an idea of how much work I did to get them to look like that (his wish is my command!). I do however want to note these aren't going to be photos that are going to be blown up. He is using them for posters and business cards and such.

Thanks man! Yeah, a few of the pictures can be a little brighter. I will be going back into CS5 and editing a few I have already edited and the ton of them I didn't get to editing yet. But I know what you mean and in all honesty I would rather have someone say they look like shit for whatever reason than saying they love them because when they say why they look like shit I have next time to try and improve!
