I got very excited then spotted the 34 inseam 😞
Not going to work for these lanky long legs that like a cuff.
I love the feel of this fabric!

@ShopatIronHeart Is the inseam dimension intentional in this case, or a result of the OD process? Where's the love for the lanky twits at? 😂

Hi @long_john86, This is likely to be caused by the OD process and making the inseam slightly shorter than a non-OD item.

That is a great fit. 888 and OD are two of my favorite things IH.

@catdad1 thanks man! This is my first OD and I didn’t expect it to be so soft (or crocky)! I was thrilled with the measurements and the fit is perfect imo. I love how black they start off. I expected more blue at first, but I’m sure they’ll be great at every stage of evo. I’ve really been gravitating to the 14oz, it’s just so versatile and comfortable for every season.

I've only worn these 5 times so far since its heavy-season, but man, this denim is the bizness. The unfaded OD dresses up real nice and I'm sure it'll age and fade into a great greasball beater pair with the unfaded blacks left behind - will hide the stains well. The fabric is so soft and the weight is by no means 'light'. Compared to my 14oz regular indigo, its hard to believe they're the same thing with just an overdye job. They feel softer and slightly heavier, yet still flex with about the same 'temper' or rigidity. The 'grain' is hidden for now and they're perfectly uniform. The thread is darkened from the OD and almost appears tonal but even that starts to fade into gold. I really like how the OD turned the weft, selvedge id, pocket linings, rivets, buttons, stitching all black. These are probably my best fitting pair of jeans currently and it's good to know they won't shrink too. I really cannot oversell how good 14oz is. Of course it may feel flimsy if you're used to heavies like 21oz or 25oz, but it's certainly NOT. They are solid, very substantial and robust.
