@myk1098 that’s cool you’ve washed and dried this thing. Did you notice any ill effects?
I’ve got a Freenote RJ2 I’ve wondered what giving a wash would do. These two jackets are essentially the same.

@Mizmazzle ive machined washed it with hot water and dried it hot, after that the thing got cooler with all the highlights and creases fades custom to my body articulation, i like it , i guess when you don't baby it and just use it and wash it if needed its gets cooler looking by the wash. @myk1098 nice man. I guess I was curious if the alpaca shrunk or the hand feel changed at all?
Are the sleeves quilted on the IHM 22?The Freenote RJ2 has quilted sleeves and the shearling is loftier than this jacket. I’d like to wash it but not sure if that Freenote denim will shrink or whatnot.

@Mizmazzle the IHM-22 is the same as the current N1 with the quilted sleeves, but i noticed the alpaca is not as thick as the current ones, when you wash it it will not be as sleek as before, esp when you put it in a machine to dry but , it goes for anything alpaca i guess when you wash it , maybe use a fabric softener and hang dry it, i own 8 N1s and all alpacas washed all of them . Honestly i like them all after one wash .
