Is there some sort of "Beer Shortage" in the EU or UK specifically? Hate to sound uninformed but I feel like I read that yesterday and cannot remember.

Yes - in Belgium some beers are hard to order… Last 4 orders of Tripel Karmeliet at work didn't show up... Same with Orval, but that's been going on for months...
