Yes - in Belgium some beers are hard to order… Last 4 orders of Tripel Karmeliet at work didn't show up... Same with Orval, but that's been going on for months...

Are the monks dipping into the supply before they bottle it?

BOON 'Oude Kriek' Mariage Parfait. This is quite something else… Tastes drier than the normal Boon Kriek, more sour as well, and you can taste the oak...  At 8 % and 37.5 cl. this is as dangerous as giving Jestre an axe, extending  your leg and then insult his mother...
