I have just finished a nice week in Chamonix. I lived here for several seasons quite a few years ago now.
Weather was kind to us and we got some fresh snow. Was still able to do a couple of the steeper runs in the valley. My body can deal with a week these days rather than a full season.
There is no 'I' in team …............ however there are five in 'individual brilliance'.

Holy shit - Lindsey Vonn is a BADASS! Freakin' nuts. Huge respect! [Noting we knew she was a badass already - but fuck me, at 41 and 0.98 seconds ahead!!]
Between Vonn and Shiffrin (G.O.A.T.) women's skiing (particularly US) is providing such inspiration and redefining what humans are capable of.
Looking forward to the Olympics. Mikaela needs to [and will] edit the records.

Vermont USA. Highest peak in VT. It’s a 20 minute hike from the top of the Stowe gondola. The North East has gotten a lot of early snow. Not so much out west. I love Chamonix. Enjoy the trip. @Bridger

I wouldn't be riding these at Palisades Tahoe
98 seems like a relatively versatile size for the US. I have 84 and have wanted to go wider, but European off-piste snow isn't what it is in the US.

98 underfoot has been the sweet spot for me. Last year I skied some Salomon QST’s that I think were right there and enjoyed them.
