All helpful. Since all I have are the SE exclusive 633s (and love the fit), that's probably what I should stick with (and maybe the 634s too).

I'll actually be near a Self Edge this weekend so maybe I'll try on a couple pairs to test.

Excited to see how these compare to the 888. I let go of my SE 633s since the rise didn’t work for me, I can prolly make an 888 work but this looks interesting

How does this 18oz fabric compare to the 21oz or 14oz in terms of pliability, stretch, fades, etc?

@welfare_burrito these are my 2 cents so other opinions may vary

pliability - crunchier at the start than 21/14oz but soften up pretty quickly

stretch - similar to the other two, depends on how much pressure you subject the denim over time but 1" approx in the waist to be expected

fades - depends on how often you wear, how much you wash. Some of the coolest fades we've seen are 18oz. You can view them here
