IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black

Looking for advice for sizing on this one.
In the only IH western shirt I own (serge) I am a small and it fits great - over a tshirt or singlet + tee.
In UHF I believe I am also a small - had a medium but sleeves were long.

If I got a CPO I think I’d prefer to be able to wear it comfortably over a slim fit hoodie. It would be function more as a denim jacket.

Does this mean to size up to a Medium?

@Gimli I would always advise consulting the measurements over tag size. Your assertion that sizing up to account for some layering is a good one, but in some cases, measurements between tag sizes can vary enough that this might catch you out.

A handy tool on our website is the "compare" function so you can see products side-by-side

As you can see, a Medium in the CPO might be a bit of a jump? Will your layers account for the 2" in the shoulder for example?

Is this as stiff as the 14oz or softer like the OD CPO?

@Gavin666 This is a relatively stiff denim, more so than the 14oz due to the heavier weave. It will soften with wear, but probably not to the extent of the 18oz overdyed CPO, which is a looser weave. Hope that helps.
