@RobbieZev in my indigo/black version of these I got 2inches of stretch in the waist. I don't think I ever felt too restrictive in mobility though, for me that has been tied to too tight in the thigh/knee. I had some 666S-142 that didn't work for me. They had stretched over an inch in the waist, and even stretched the thigh a bit, but was never able to stretch enough to get full mobility like I have in my other pairs.

@Sunnergren after getting a very vivid brick of a phone fade in my front pocket that I wasn't a fan of, I started carrying in my back pocket. Phone fade doesn't bother me as much there.

@dwils IH jeans not a problem, but a 1.75" belt can be a tight fit through belt loops in other brands. I only have one belt that size and a few 1.5". No complaints with either size. I feel like the 1.75" helps keep my low rise 777 up best (for a leather belt). Daltech force great brand to try a new size (sub $100 for a good belt). Not as good as my stitched old bridle harness Hank's belt (in the sense that the Daltech force ones have stretched a little more).

For the last part of your questions. In general doesn't feel a whole lot different to me. If given the same leather/quality at the same price, I would probably go bigger belt, but I don't love the bigger size enough to pay too much extra for.

Sorry for the loss of your best friend @GoodtimeJohnny . It is always hard to say goodbye. I'm sure it was 15 years of a very happy and well lived life

I warm washed and low dried my UHFs today. Happy with the results. Didn't measure before and after, but definitely shrunk in every way, not a huge amount, but enough to be noticeable.

I tried on while damp after the wash, and it didn't feel much smaller then, so threw them in the dryer. After dryer definitely noticeable.
