I should add, bushmonkey has a great point: there is a certain magic that comes with H creating new items without our input. I think, as we've seen in the past few years, we can have a balance between remakes and new H classics.

Do you value and love the item for the pattern / quality / ect or do you value it because it is rare and it makes you feel good to post pictures of your rare 'og' items on the internet?

I stand with the former - and other people or more people having the same shirt as me does nothing to curtail my enjoyment of IH.

do you want the brand name or IH quality? IH already has tshirts - if you want something cheaper, there are other brands…

I loved mine but after 2 winters the condura started to fray and holes began to appear in high stress areas. Had to unload it on ebay.

their new regular cuts are awesome. I have a 38 in chest and had to size up to a 42 in TFH so it fit my waist.

Just got a 40R (regular) and it fits so much better than my size 42s.

I should add: the reason I say this is my first gen version is starting to get fairly worn in and I don't believe there is a suitable replacement out there in terms of styling / cut / quality.

I think it is a cool detail, but I usually cut it off.

N-2 deck jacket.

From a styling perspective, they are in the same league as the N-1. However, the materials on the originals were lacking. Because of this they are a seriously under represented jacket on the jp repro scene.

So keep the styling but use better materials. Maybe whipcord like the N-1 or Condura.

Also, moleskin anything (pants or shirts)

I jumped on the RJB windowpane bandwagon as well - hopefully sizing works out!

I am taking 42 of each.  The delta is what the retailers are taking.  I guess they think that westerns sell much better than workshirts.  I think they're wrong, but they're big boys and they make their own decisions….

I, for one, am pleased to see the return of the flannel workshirt. Not sure on the purple, but hopefully it is a sign of things to come..
