The sizing is pretty close to the 634 S 21 from IH, but slightly bigger in all dimensions. Noticeable was on the knees as they are close to an inch and a half bigger comparatively to the IH. I did not soak them or wash them yet. So I did not size up. These are Tag size 32 like the IH Tag size 32 in the 634 S 21 cut. The most satisfying is the length on these as I can cuff them now. On my IH 634 S 21, I could have never imagined to cuff them.

Man, the S510XX19ozII 19oz ‘Kiwami’ Selvedge Jeans - Regular Straight that I scored recently feels like the IH UHR. Very stiff and cardboard like feeling. Hope they break in and feel supple over time.

I wanted to get another pair of 634's in 21 oz, but I decided to try one from Samurai and got the Kiwami 19 oz denim in the 510 cut. Fantastic fit and fabric.

Is anyone already having experience with the "S510XX21OZII - 21oz CHO-KIWAMI Selvedge Denim"? How does this compare to the 634S 21 from IH? From the measurements, I see that the Samurai runs a bit wider. Does this extra bit of width give a boxy feeling?

Can anyone recommend how I can fix the tear on the hem of my 634's? I loved this denim so much that I have been wearing this consistently for the whole last year. Not a single day missed and the result of it is that the hem on the right hand side is tearing apart.

Will this have a 36 length compared to the usual 34 length that all the 634's are made of?

Even I had the same question. Why is the patch stiched? I was under the assumption that only lightweight denim had stitched patches. May be I was wrong.

Is there a way to do some repairs on this shirt? The thread on my right arm has come out completely. This is the best IH shirt that I have in my collection, but the thread coming out completely is freaking me out.

@Shane-B Fantastic story behind the patch and every single detail you mentioned applies equally good. Is this cut only exclusive to the store? I mean this can be purchased only at the store in Hamburg? Will this initially be a limited run? Is it planned to be available online as well? Already way too many questions from my side, but this denim really caught on me as I never had any mid-weight IH denim yet.

Great news and the fit looks compelling. As the 634's have been my favorite cut, I guess this new cut might give a tough competition. Will definitely grab a pair upon release. Any rough timeline? Anywhere I can hit that notify button already?

My ride the last few months. Got away riding my Trek Remedy and started to use this one. Not sure which category this belongs. It has some Gravel geometry but is also a city commuter. Overall I'm pretty happy with this!

Wearing these after a long time with my Omega AT. Feels fantastic.

Great news! Any idea if the measurements will be more or less the same like it is already advertised from the previous runs? I'm more attracted to this jacket just because of the fact that these run a bit longer on the arms and body compared to other jackets, hence asking this question.
