Nabbed an XL from Iron Heart Germany. Feels good to finally get “the one that got away”.

So stoked for this one. Spent a lot of time trying to find a used one from the ‘23 release.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered all 4 in XL.

6'4 200lbs and it fits me almost exactly like Rudi's in the promo photos. Exactly what I wanted. Slim enough to use as versatile layering pieces but not so slim to where I wouldnt want to wear it alone. Really like how they look when using them as an undershirt for an unbuttoned shirt or type 2. Olive w/ an unbuttoned Johnny Cash is mint.

Was about to buy a UES until I saw these are coming back. Hopefully soon.

Just recieved my 1st pair of 25oz after seeing there was only 1 pair left in tag 36. It's starting to get cold here so I decided now's the time.

After trying them on initially, they felt a little too loose in the thighs and knees. Ended up soaking them for an hour, air-dryed and threw them on while they were still just barely damp. After soaking I was concerned that they were a bit too snug, but within a couple of hours I could really start to feel them molding to my body. Ended up wearing them for around 5 hours and by the time I took them off, they were feeling pretty dang good. My wife says she really likes the fit on me.

Excited to put them through their paces over the winter

Update: Day 2, i put them on this morning and it's very apparent how much they shaped to my body in the initial wear. They feel really comfortable today. When i was sliding them on you could feel all the contours from where they molded to me and how everything just kinda "fell into place"

Hey @Snafu. The exterior of the Big Buck is very soft. The leather feels buttery smooth, springy, and has slight pebbling, sort of like suede. I wouldn't say the Big Buck is as slippery as velvet. The shirt is very warm yet breathable, and is surprisingly strong given its suppleness. The Pale Rider may suit you better, I believe that's the Simmons Bilt x IH shirt that isn't as suedey.

Is the external texture of these more like a velvety/suede or Rough-out leather?

Just wondering because I have an insane tactile hypersensitivity to anything that feels velvety. Anytime I touch it I get crazy goosebumps and shivers.

Got mine today. I really like how vibrant the purple looks in direct sunlight, in person. Favorite flannel already!

@hoppy_IPA I feel you dude. I got caught up in something and missed the launch by about 40 minutes. My size was gone but luckily iron Heart Germany pulled through once again.

Im curious about these for the winter but have never seen one in person. What temps could these comfortably withstand with say an unbuttoned 526PJ worn over it?

Looks like most non-OD 777’s are the closest measurements through the thigh, knee and leg opening to my 888 OD

Just a question as I’m unsure.

I have these jeans in the OD version and absolutely adore the fit of them. Perfect in every way.

Are the OD versions pulled from the regular version of the same run then over-dyed or are the pulled from completely different stock. Just wondering if I could expect giving these a really hot soak to bring them down to the measurements of the OD version

Ended up getting the IND and the OD CPO’s.

Had to go with a XXXL in the OD and think it’s probably going to be too big, but risked it for the biscuit since it was the one I loved most in the photos. Figured I wouldn’t have much issue selling or trading if it doesn’t work out.
