Any idea of a restock ETA?

Hey Iron Heart,
What was the reason for the quick "sold out" on this item? I am a few hours late and lost out, but was able to get one through one of your retailers. Was it low inventory to begin with?

Hi all, any update on a restock?

Not much inseam shrinkage based on my experience. Maybe 0.5” max after a hot soak….but not enough to notice when worn.

RE: IH-888SBR-14 - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cutposted in Bottoms
@Alex thanks for checking. That IH denim construction was appealing to me when I purchased my first pair of 21oz. It separated IH from other brands when I was scouring the internet. Perhaps adding that broken twill technical detail to the details section of the page would help the marketing? Just a thought.

Quick question. Was the double twisted weft yarn process incorporated into the broken twill? Can that even be done?

Been eyeing this since it was first advertised. Just pulled the trigger for my first IH shirt.

RE: Differences in Overdyed denimsposted in Bottoms
So many great suggestions so thank you all. After years of slim cuts, I have found a great fit last year in the 888s. Started with the 21oz and nearly wore them every day this year to get some respectable fades...very happy with the aging process.
Followed up with the 14oz bb since I figured everybody needed a black pair of denim (my first pair of black denim ever).
More recently I picked up the 16oz slubby denim for a difference in texture. I have had 2 other pairs of slub denim, but those were nothing compared to the level of texture in the IH.
In the theme of denim diversity, I pulled the trigger last night on the 14oz OD broken twill which I have been eyeing for several months now. I have never had either and OD or a broken twill so this will give good perspective.

RE: Differences in Overdyed denimsposted in Bottoms
@yannis thanks for the response. I also have the 16 oz slub and yes, those are very loose...almost like slacks.
Regarding the 14 oz denim, my follow up question would be whether the black/black is unique in its density/tightness/feel. It is the stiffest and thickest feeling 14 oz denim I have ever experienced. They feel stiffer and thicker than some 15/16oz denim from other brands. Do the indigo and OD versions have this same feel? In full disclosure, I love the thick, dense and tight feel of the 14oz bb so I am happy to replicate that.

Differences in Overdyed denimsposted in Bottoms
Hi all, in searching the forum, there is some info but not a lot comparing the differences in overdyed denims such as weight and to that of their non overdyed counterparts.
I'm obviously in the market for an OD pair but want to gather a bit more info first. I have a pair of 21 oz 888s and a 14 oz black/black...both of which I love. Now I am trying to decide what type of OD to get (21 vs 14 vs 14 broken twill).
Does the OD process change the feel of the denim? How about stretch? I have read that there is some shrinkage which is fine.
Regarding the 14 oz denims, there are so many with the two indigo versions having OD versions. As I only have the 14 oz bb, how does this compare to the OD versions in terms of feel, stretch, weave tightness, etc.?
Thanks all in advance.

RE: IH-888S-21od - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - OD'dposted in Bottoms
@popvulture thanks for your thoughts on the matter and that is also what I suspected. Good to get confirmation from the experts. I definitely prefer stubborn faders. I’ve had denim in the past that lighten and change color on first wash…not to mention getting knee fades after kneeling a couple of times.

@yannis thanks for the suggestion. I was going to do to that earlier this year but ended up with the black 14oz 888s. Those are great as well!

Well since I am waiting, I might as well ask some questions…
How does the aging of these compare to the non OD version? I have worn my 21oz 888s nearly everyday for a year now and love the fading, feel and color evolution.
I have seen pics of the OD version that look like standard faded indigo denim and I have seen other pics that have a more grey hue to them…almost like a well worn pair of black denim.
I am looking for something to complement my 21oz 888s.

New to the Ironheart brand with the 888S-21 being my first pair. Two weeks in and I have never had an easier break in process. The only break in was really getting used to a pair that actually fits at the waist. With that being out of the way, these could be easily slept in.
This is an interesting cut and a far departure from my previous purchases of slim fit cuts that are too loose in the waist and too narrow in the thigh.
A big shout out to Ross Phillips ( @Ross ) at Ironheart for helping me through the purchasing process. That level of attention and customer service has guaranteed a happy repeat customer.
