Can anyone by any chance advise on fixing inner pockets?
Is there any protocol that folks are using to get inner pockets fixed?
Attached are pics of the same pocket from the right and inside out.
Any advise is appreciated

A dumb question, I know, but I need help.
I hand-washed my pair with a quite vigorous agitation in a warm water (around 45°-50°C) like 1/2 ago. The fabric became even more denser, which I honestly like because it creates an interesting (1970's alike vintage) fading pattern.
But also the length lost about an inch getting almost to my ankle.
I tried to stretch them back: both when wet and when dry, didn't work much at first.
UPDATE: after multiple experiments the workaround is after the wash to stretch separately:- the area from thigh to knee;
- the are from knee to hem
with twisting to the left and to the right.
The length got back to the initial 33''

6-month review:
I am an overly picky customer in terms of quality checks. Sales people must be cursing me.But even I am really happy with the superior quality of 777s-21 and definitely can recommend as a kick-off pair for IH first timers.
All the seams, details have been done at 11-out-of-10 quality. Neat and clean work.
I wasn't that lucky with 19L pair, had to return having some issues with inner seams, but will give 19L a try another time.As for the 777s-21:
-
the test I am constantly giving this is almost daily (average) 5-mile walks, up and down the hill, with multiple squats to lace up shoes or scratch my ankle. Usually only 2-3 hours a day, but pressure they experience is probably more than they would get from a 8-hour wear by a person with sedentary lifestyle. I turned them inside out and checked the seams (fly, inseams, outseams, etc.). They are still going strong, not even a sign of going sideways. Worth it's price and a good investment.
-
After a prolonged 3-hour soak the fabric became denser, thicker and sort of rougher (only 3 hand washes so far). This affected the way they fade. Fades started popping up all over the surface. Not just honeycombs or whiskers. It became kind of uneven and sharper, which I like. Sorry, photos don't reflect the colors in full.
-
I will keep on long-soak + hand wash practice until creases and fades set up, and then want to give them a good machine wash. For some reason I am into rather vintage fades.
-
They did stretch in waist, but tend to get back if stay on the hanger for a couple of days. I would say width fluctuating back and forth based on frequency of use. This must be true about 21 oz, not sure how other fabric types act. But definitely they are very pliable and easy to wear, not that tight like used to do when I newly got them out of the package. Also no baggy saggy backside or knee bubbles. This is a pleasant surprise.

QUESTION to the old wolves from a rookie raw and unwashed.
I happened to keep my 777s-21 soaked in cold water for 3 hours. Had to work and forgot about it.
When came back, the water was quite dark (dirt or indigo or both). So I decided to agitate it and get it all out.- The inseam was 33+ inches. I am a stack guy and had several stack creases bunched up. After air dry the length went to 32.3 and just a couple of stack creases. I could feel it became shorter by almost 2/3 inch right away.
- The fabric throughout the entire pair became kind of denser and thicker. Stacks are sort of bunched up and stay that way themselves.
- Still OK, no problem. It's just not stacking up like it used to do. I even like the way it started fading now.
Just curious, if it might be due to prolonged stay in the water (though cold) or agitation? Maybe both?

Just got a new pair. The overlock on the inner part of button fly is kind of loose along with the selvedge line.
Is this a defect?
Has anyone else had this?I am not concerned about esthetics.
Just don't want that part to go off after a couple of machine washes.

Wow! Thank you all a lot.
It seems 19 oz one is going to be my choice.
Greatly appreciate your insights and sharing tons of experience. -

I need a new jacket and advice. At first I was going to buy 21 oz. Kind of default choice.
But the old wolves on this forum wrote that the 21 oz sleeves are too wide and slouch. Rather good for big framed guys (with somewhat present biceps) than slimmer ones like me.
They recommended 14 oz saying it has slimmer sleeve cut. So I decided to pass on 21 oz, but hasn't stop on 14 oz yet.
Can anyone, please, share their sleeve experience with this 19 oz super stiff beast? Watched videos, browsed pictures, but still couldn't figure out the sleeve thing.
Is it wide like with 21 oz? How would it be compared to 21 oz cut - wider, slimmer?
Thanks everybody in advance.
P.S. Stiffness is not scaring me out. Years ago started with 21 oz Unbranded which was rather breaking me in ))) So as a guy who knows the drill I am curious about 19 oz

@Evertonman I am not a vet, still raw & unwashed ))) So, it's going to be a rookie advice ))
I would assume that probably yes, a hot soak can potentially get it shrunk a bit. Not crazy like a couple of inches, but considerably.
Last time after I gave them a tub wash in a "very warm" water (not hot), they sat on me quite tighter, on butt and thighs.
Yes, they stretched out then a bit, but still quite tighter than used to do even after multiple wears. Though I am a skinny guy, so works for me.
You can try to give them a hot soak for an hour and see how far shrinkage can go -

@goosehd thank you. Then I will get a leather conditioner. Need it in anyway for my belts
Can you guys recommend some?
Thank you -
RE: IH-777S-21 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigoposted in Bottoms
I wear my pair for only my daily 2 to 3-hour evening walks and grocery shopping trips. Around 15-20 hours per week. My estimate is that the net wear time is around 3-4 months.
Gave it a tub wash. Tons of indigo dye went off. The color changed drastically. Fades are becoming 3D: whiskers, honeycombs... even the front pocket bags' fades started protruding from the inside.
The fabric became more dense and thicker. As overall I am happy with the result and going to wash it more frequently, probably once a month.
P.S. Decided also to have some fun. I don't have a leather conditioner. Just of curiosity I applied a thick 1-mm layer of unsalted butter onto the leather patch in the evening. In the morning the whole layer disappeared, not even oily residues. The leather patch ate it all
