The Flat Head just released a western version of this shirt (FN-SCW-003).
I love this fabric and the construction so much I'm definitely grabbing the western as well.

@Ikeaparty The answer is both. 409 won't be restocked until next year, so plenty of time to get the 295 and give it hell even before the 409 is restocked. I have the 295-IB and it is an amazing shirt. I'm waiting on the 409 restock as well. They seem to be very different beasts with the only similarity is that they are Indigo/Black, but someone who owns both can speak better on this than me.
I really hope this one does get released later this year. It's beautiful and 21 oz is perfect for winter weather.
Well, I know at least one thing I will be buying in 2027. This is sexy as hell.
@MSav32323 I was just referring to the CPO being a little snug on me with a UHF underneath and that as I wear it, it will stretch out a little in the areas where there is tension. In my particular case, the arms are a little tight while layering over a UHF and it will loosen up with enough wear because there is enough tension there to cause it to stretch a little.
But yes, if you wash cold and hang dry you should experience minimal shrinkage and it will stretch back out in the areas that experience sufficient tension.
Just got my indigo cpo and it's damn near perfect. The fabric is very similar to the 18oz vintage (which I love) with a just a bit more slub. I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference if I didn't know it was a different denim. The measurements and fit are what I was hoping for and, for the size medium that I got (my usual IH size), appears to be very similar to the 292. I want to wear this as a jacket rather than a shirt and I can fit a UHF under it for a slightly tight but comfortable enough fit. With wear I know it will stretch enough to be perfect. Also was glad that the hem isn't too wide and clings to my body while not being tight at all. Seeing how nice the CPOs turned out I'm definitely thinking about grabbing a pair of the jeans.
Was so focused on the CPOs that I didn't pay much attention to the jeans (also I could only buy one thing today). But man the OD looks so good. If my size in the 301 OD is still available in a few weeks (unlikely), I will definitely grab a pair.

@MSav32323 It's hard to say as I haven't really seen any information on the number of units made for each of the items. Some of the stock will be held for in-store sales only.
I would expect some sizes to sell out fast. Most of the discussion that I have seen has been about the overdyed pieces so I would expect those to sell out first.
If there is something that you really want, I wouldn't wait, especially if it's an overdyed item.
@Snafu Yeah you're not wrong. That measurement does look way off. I'd email Self Edge and ask if someone can remeasure the chest in the size you want. Maybe they'll will get back to you before the release.
@Gavin666 I have been trying to figure out the sizing myself (I am interested in the indigo version) and compared Self Edge's measurements on the 292 to the collab cpo. For my size range they are pretty close to each other yet different than the measurements on the Iron Heart site. Based on the different measurements I would guess that a medium in the indigo version would fit similar to a medium in the 292 on me (i.e. as a shacket rather than a shirt).
I think for the best guess, find your size in the 293OD on the Iron Heart site and then see how Self Edge's measurements for the 293OD and the SEXIH25-CPOOD compare. I bought the 293OD in a large as I wanted to wear it as a shacket and based on Self Edge's measurements I would buy the same size in the SEXIH25-CPOOD for the same fit.
I hope this makes sense as I know my explanation is a bit convoluted. Not fool proof by any means but probably a good enough guide assuming that Self Edge's measurements for both the 293OD and the SEXIH25-CPOOD are consistent across those pieces.
@BalticBob I have both the Flat Head and IH denim work shirts. The Flat Head one is really nice. Well constructed and lots of cool details (as you pointed out). Great fit as well. Highly recommended. I'd also recommend the Samurai denim work shirt if you haven't checked it out or do not already own it.
Ugh...I was ready to pass on this whole collab but the indigo CPO is calling me...Despite owning 4 IH CPOs, I don't have one in indigo. I have been waiting on the eventual restock of the 409-IB, but this is different enough to justify both (at least in my sick mind). The fabric on this one is what is tempting me the most. It looks like a more extreme version of the 18 oz vintage denim (which I absolutely love).

@SKT These look great! I went with indigo high tops and basically recreated the Concepts x Converse Cone Mills collab from 10 years ago. I love mine so much I'll probably also get a pair in the black denim as well.
Recently purchased this and I am loving it. Last year I bought the Flat Head 5oz dobby work shirt (whose fabric seems comparable to the 357), but figured since this is a western and a different weave that I could justify it. Comparing the two the 413 feels slightly heavier and wears slightly warmer, but is still very light weight. Looking forward to breaking this in this summer.
FYI, Converse just brought back indigo and black denim options for their custom Chuck 70 and are currently having a 25% off sale on all custom orders.
Having missed out on the 357, I'm glad to see this one as part of the spring collection. I hope the measurements work for me.
