Thanks guys. Yeah, I think you are right in that its embedded in the fabric (does seem hardened/plasticky). I did rub a spot fairly well and I honestly think I'd have to rub away all the indigo for it to not appear. I appreciate you guys taking a quick look at that. Figured it would be worth a last ditch effort! Thanks again!

Evening Gents, this is my type III lefty, I took it out to wear it the other day after some years (finally can fit in it!) and noticed these spots. They are on the upper back portion of the jacket. At first I wetted the spots and rubbed them lightly with a sponge. I then noticed it wasn't clearing up so I rubbed it with the more abrasive side of the sponge. Well that obviously wore away some indigo, and really didn't get rid of it all. I have tried alcohol, nail polish remover, Hot clothes Iron + paper towel, WD40, rub in dish detergent then into the washer with a full tide pod for a 60 minute wash, and NOTHING. I thought it was glue, granted I would never have done any gluing in this jacket, the only thing I can think that it could have been is pine resin or something similar. It has a slight gloss to it when looked at at an angle. I also thought maybe wax, but i think wax would have been removed with a hot iron. I likely have tried everything there is to get these marks out of my jacket, but I figured I would ask here to see if I missed anything. If I have posted in the wrong thread please feel free to move it, and I apologize. I did not see a "care" thread and I figure the lefty type III thread my not get as many eyeballs. Appreciate any and all help for ye lads. Thanks!!!

It's a great shirt!  The blue 21 has been my go to shirt for the last few months this, so I knew picking up the black was a no brainer.  I was able to snag a 46 in black so I felt kinda stupid for getting this black one as well, but the fabrics are so different it made sense (my justification haha).  The 21 chambray is like nothing else on the market - you will enjoy it!

Ha, i know the feeling.  I picked up an IHSH-65 from the forums yet have the IHSH-13 IND.  I was reluctant to buy the 65 because i have the 13 but, they are very different shirts.  I am saving for a house atm so I need to steer clear of IH for a little while

I believe that the majority of places increase saturation/vibrance on photos which makes colors "pop" more.  It's something you have to understand today with almost every shop/webshop having access to dslr and good post-processing software.  I always assume that every photo of a shirt/shoe has had some editing done and more times than not its to increase said "pop".

I know it goes against the whole Western/Work idea that Ih focuses on, but I would love another shirt cut to add some variety in mix. Perhaps a western style shirt with buttons, or a single pocket work shirt cut - something that could be easily dressed up for the office crowd - could be good in a very lightweight hickory stripe (perhaps a new color stripe like burgundy or green) or solid herringbone material.

Seconded, I don't mind wearing westerns to work everyday haha but, would like something a bit more dressy for the office when I am feeling it (single pocket oxford or even a single pocket flannel in the same vein as the 129).  I haven't really branched out to other brands that have this style because I want something to be of the same quality/caliber as IH and thats not likely going to happen.

I copped the green one, regretting not getting the other haha, as I had originally said.  I will try to get some pics up next time I rock it.  I've just been super lazy….

Yup anybody on the fence should grab this shirt it is dope.

And I really hope this doesn't prevent future shirts of this nature because I would love to see more selvage flannels/plaids like this!

Just did the Massachusetts beer pilgrimage. Treehouse, then some BBQ, liquor store, then out to Boston for Trillium and Night Shift, then Moes Tavern to cap off the night with a BCBS and an Alla gash Triple

Anyone familiar with the Chicago beer scene?
It's looking like I'm going to be up there in a couple weeks, so if there's anything I shouldn't miss out on let me know!

I just went in November and I would recommend finding a good tap house.  When I went we went to Local Option, they always have a great selection and its a really unique bar.  Brewery wise, Half Acre and Revolution are solid.  We also made the trip down to Three Floyds which I recommend, it's only 45 minutes from the city (if you have a car).  Also, might be worth going to Goose Island Clyborn (original location). They put bourbon county on fair amount from what I heard.  And bottle shop, Beer Temple.  Hope that helps a bit
