      @Giles said in IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo:

      When I started working with Haraki, none of jeans had the belt loops sewn into the waistband. I specified them on all jeans I initiated, but the IH-634S was obviously not one of them. It took a few years to transition to sewn in belt loops on the 634 cut.

      This pair has only the back belt loop tucked under. I imagine Haraki did this because he wore a belt whilst on the bike (?)

      @Giles thanks for chiming in! Always great to hear from you guys.

      The 3rd image shows the right side and front-right side belt loops, both of which should be sewn in but are not. Thanks for looking!

      @goosehd well it’s definitely the 21 oz denim, so I’m not sure what happened here.

      Hey folks! I recently traded for a pair of 634s and they seem a little weird. They are second hand, so obviously there will be some wear on ‘em, but two things jumped out at me.

      1. The leather flasher tag is very messily sewn on. As if done by hand.

      2. Only 1 belt loop, the back one, is tucked under the waistband. The rest are not.

      Could this be a factory second pair? I’ve owned plenty of IH, and know the brand well so as far as I know IH does not do releases of their seconds.

      Let me know what ya’ll think!

      @Melquíades:

      @Giles:

      You could, but it does require special tooling…....

      Hey Giles, I’ve already got a snap from my Good Art cap, but the cap is practically dead. Would I be able to order the hat with just the male button on the top so I could make use of the snap I already have?

      Kind of a weird request I know…

      @neph93:

      I think the XL looks good but you’ll need to take very good care of it if you want to avoid it becoming too small.

      The XXL is a little long in the arms and a little wide but G-san quite right, a hot wash will sort it out. It will shrink in all directions, including the shoulders.

      thanks for the feedback neph . With the color and the western pattern I feel like this shirt lends itself to a slimmer fit. How much shrink can I expect from a cold machine wash and hang dry?

      @Giles:

      Get the larger and shrink it.  You'll get 1/2 a size of shrinkage.  Wash at 30C, if that does not get you enough shrinkage, wash at 40, repeat in +10C increments until you get where you want to end up.

      Ah I see. I can still exchange for the XXL at SENY. My main concern with the XL is in the shoulders. Would the shoulders come in a bit on the XXL? The sleeve in it were quite long as well. Thanks Giles you’re a legend!
