Don't mean to disagree with @Alex but I actually find the IHJ-49 split steer type iii noticeably heavier and warmer.

I took my usual size L in this jacket but this definitely fits different. Longer torso and very slim fitting but probably my most flattering jacket as a result.

@coughpls Reviewing the measurements are probably your best bet to make sure on things like sleeve length but I do wear both IHJ-49 in black split steer and IHM-37-ODG oiled N1 in the same size L.

Does anyone in here own the Type 3 that 3sixteen did with Schott? Either the Copper Roughout or the Goatskin? I'm just wondering what the weight of this feels like compared to those.
I own the 3sixteen type iii collab they did with Simmons Bilt in chocolate suede (and the IH split steer in black). Both the 3sixteen and IH split steer are substantial in weight and quality but the IH Split Steer feels heavier and thicker.

Hi everyone, glad to meet everyone on the forum here. Seems like a very active and friendly community.
I first heard of Iron Heart about 12 yrs when I got into raw denim. I find myself wearing less jeans these days but I'm back now and very interested in IH Type 3 jackets.
