    Hey guys,

    By any chance, if you got a little cut of hickory stripes fabric from this pant (from an hemming…), I'll gladly paid for it, in order to patch some holes in my IHSH-07

    Thanks !

  • RE: Palladium Footwear

    @Chris:

    But it's the French Foreign Legion.  By definition, they aren't French.

    Silly Belgian.

    Well, actually, most of the Legionaire are actually French, and you can notice that if there is so much Belgian, Swiss and Canadian legionnaire, it's because lot of them are French under fake identity from french speaking country.

    @mclaincausey:

    The first clue that they aren't French is that they are soldiers.

    Oh yes. Just like the +1,300,000 soldiers who died in the trench during WWI, the +371,000 who died during the Napoleonic wars, or the 88 who died in Afghanistan, the +10,000 which are right now deployed in Mali, CAR, Niger, Chad and Mauritania fighting terrorism. They aren't soldiers.

    And no, Palladium boots are no longer part of the standard legion uniform since the 60's. They were designed as off-duty boots in former french north african colonial empire conditions, but have nothing to compare with modern combat boots.

  • RE: IH-666Sod - Devil's Fit Overdyed - Super Slim Tapered

    Hey guys,

    I'm considering buying a 666od. I already own a indigo 666 in sz 33', i gave it a super hot soak (almost boiling, 2 times), and it fit me perfectly.

    So  considering the overdying takes out all the shrinkage, I assume a sz 33' in 666od would fits the same ?

    My only concern is about the waist size. My indigo was 33,5' when new and stretch out to my true waist size which is 35'.

    Will the OD, which is 31.6 in the waist at sz 33 stretch out so much ? Any experience here about the size correspondance between indigo and OD ?

    Thanks for you help.

    666s –-----

    1hr hotsoak with a piece of wood for minimal waist shinkage

    then…

    Now got to go to the taylor for a proper hemming. Still hesitating for a second soak.

    As usual, G. was super helpful/patient. Great jean, great service . Thank you !

    Wooo. Construction and details seems amazing. I'm quite tempted to pick one of the last in stock… I'm looking for something very warm (I live in the Alpes...) How warm is it compared to Technical/Gore-Tex/Mountain stuff ? Thank you guys.

  • RE: IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

    I generally give a first hotsoak with a piece of wood  for minimal shrinkage at the waist. I'm not sure if it is the right way but it works just fine with my Samurai.

    Hey G.

    Been waiting for these for a long time

    Just a quick size advice

    Considering the fact my waist size is 35, but i got thin legs, should i go for an 33 or 34 which would stretch out to 35 or for an 36 which would shrink to 35 ? thank you

    Wow… Hard to take a picture. Strange optical illusion but the stripes are straight, trust me  😉
    Looks 100x better in real.
