What a blast to meet everyone last night! Totally worth the drive. The sincerity and sense of community and family within Iron Heart and Self Edge is real. Giles, your wife Paula is a true class act! What a charming person she is to talk to!

I went to try on the corduroys, I went to try on the chalk stripe, I put on the slubby and I immediately felt like I was home in it. This shirt is more seductive than the pictures make it look. It looks like a shirt you’ve always wanted to own and that you’ve owned for years thanks to the others who gave me advice, but you should’ve warned me about this one my bank account hold you responsible!:)

Mine arrived today! Normally a perfect xxl in IH shirts and flannels, went with a xl due to shoulders being bigger than normal xxl sizing. It fits perfectly! I have to admit that before I put it on I was not sure what I thought about it, I let it hang up for a while, and then decided to put it on and took a look in the mirror and then I noticed how much the shirt pops against skin tone. The material is really soft to the hand, but yet looks substantial. I appreciate that the buttons are the same color as the shirt as much as I love snaps and fancy buttons sometimes it’s nice to have a shirt that just blends in nicely. As for the sewing, what do you say it’s always impeccable. I think this shirt is one that could get worn a lot. You can dress it up or you can dress it down. This shirt is cool….have been wearing it all day and have noticed that this “off-white” shirt takes on different hues in different light ranging from off-white to ecru to almost a buttery white! Very nice.

I bought these shorts, hoping that they would be a denim jeans that would not look ridiculous like some denim jeans look like. These are so comfortable and so cool looking I ended up buying the two other colors! Heck, I think I was the only person in these shorts at the meet and greet in LA due to the warm weather. The fit of these really is that comfortable. They become your go-to almost immediately.

And also in black!

Is there any thought to making a 21oz. Black sashiko shirt, the indigo one was amazing, black seems like a interesting idea.

Anyone have a picture of the Iron Heart Double Tour on their wrist! The denim alternative to Hermes!

Got this in both blue and black. Substantial fabric without being to heavy. I think this shirt will be great for California spring and our for central valley summers! I purchased in Xl and it fit great. The blue looks terrific with my off-white momotaro jeans.

@DeeDee85 I agree with you, I keep looking at their tank tops as well. I love their T-shirts. I’m just trying to find a use for wearing tank tops considering I don’t really live up to the suns out guns out kind of arms lol but I think I need one in each color though

Can someone answer this question please. When you upgrade buttons or snaps, is it $25 per each being replaced? So for example is a shirt has 12 being changed to copper than an additional $300?

Finally gave in and got a pair of 634s. First pair of IH denim. I now see what all the talk is about. What a great fit, great texture to the denim, strangely buttery soft to the touch! The next rabbit hole. I am interested to see how they age :). First if was UHF, then wabash, then shirts, 21oz sashiko,thermals, them type III jacket. Thats how it all begun……

@pechelman let me try to clarify my thoughts better. When I see your bag that is changing colors, what I really see is a bag that’s been on 1000 adventures that have hopefully been a lot of fun and excitement. Have you ever heard of what is called “the observer effect”? What it essentially means is that when you see something or you are in the presence of something, it changes you or you change it just by the simple act of observing. That’s what I think about when I see your bag, you have changed it and it has changed you through all of your adventures with it. I personally think that’s pretty cool. It makes me want to get one:)

@jordanscollected hey, thank you for the reply. That’s interesting that you know where Turlock is every time you have to drive through that part of town you roll down the windows so you can smell the beautiful herbs that are being dried there and it’s actual herbs , not “here”! If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do for a living or what is your business? You obviously are in some form of agriculture and food business.

@Alex thank you for the response. I always appreciate hearing about all of the background work that takes place to make all of these wonderful garments come to life! A true combination of knowledge, good luck and a lot of hard work. We do appreciate all of the unseen work that makes this all possible! That sashiko shirt was truly one that sent all of us scouring the world to get. It was worth it!

You are johnny on the spot, what a fast response! I guess that’s when uniqueness, price point and value proposition all come together and a market wasn’t seen for that coat.
btw….still working on getting that t-shirt out of Munich!
