@Giles @goosehd I screenshotted this conversation and the seller gave me a full refund, he thought they were part of the jacket so probably an honest misunderstanding.
It’s hard not to love IH with CS this good!

@Giles Thanks for confirming
Thanks, neither have I - think he’s trying to pull a fast one to pay for the dry cleaning!
To add to this I had them both this morning and was going to send them back, but one has gone missing (think my toddler has taken it and put it somewhere )
I bought a second hand deck vest online and it was shipped with 2 of these button extenders.
It had some stains not described in the listing, which they admitted to, and I sent it back. The seller then refunded me £50 less as I didn’t send back the button extenders, as they are ‘exclusive to iron heart’ and can’t be replaced. I have never seen these before.
Is this true?
Thanks, a size L just popped up on eBay (I'm searching for a Black/Black N1 Deck Jacket). I was tempted but decided to leave it!
Can anyone ID this jacket?
@endo Thanks, I have ordered a Dylon Olive Green, and will see what happens
I bought this shirt from eBay. Its a IHSH-330-ODG 9oz Raised Whipcord.
On the ebay photos it didn't look that bad and thought it just needed a good iron, but in hand it has noticeable white crease marks. It looks likes its been washed and left at the bottom of the washing pile. Its a shame as it's a nice shirt and a great fit for me.
Does anyone know if I was to dye it at home it would cover these marks?
Is there a colour that would work best over green?
I've never dyed any clothing before so have no idea what I'm doing, but I read somewhere its relatively easy with a Dylon pod in the washing machine.
Any advice appreciated!
I need to wash this jacket for the first time, it’s overdue! Label says 40 machine wash and I was going to do in the machine on a 40 gentle cycle - is this the best thing to do?
Any thoughts or advice appreciated!
Thanks for the input.
Realistically I would be wearing with a t shirt 90% of the time. I'm going to try on again but think you might be right on the sizing. Its like new and quite stiff, so I think that might make it feel smaller than it actually is.
Now, just the small issue if finding a size 40!
Or am I just being a wuss and this how the sleeves are meant to be?
First post..
I recently picked up a IH-101J size 42, its a grail for me and love it. My first selvage denim jacket.
I'm 5'11, around 87kg. It fits well in the body and wouldn't want to go any smaller, as wouldn't be able to layer at all. Picture is just with a T-Shirt.
The issue is the sleeves are a bit too long and I find it quite annoying. I don't think I have particularly short arms and not an issue I typically have with other jackets. I would say about 2 inches too long. When cuffed length feels right.
I have read some comments to say sleeves get shorter when you wear due to bunching. I don't really see how its possible to shorten significantly, but realistically does anyone know how much can I expect to loose?
Can anyone recommend a company in the UK where I can send the jacket to reduce the length of the sleeves by 2 inches? I don't think I could trust my local tailor. Or is this a terrible idea, given point 1.
Thanks for any advise!
