Finally had to order some new chinos. My two pair of deck pants were great but they don’t fit as I’ve regained my natural sizing. Trying the 14oz slub deck pants in a 34. The 32 originals will need to hit the sales thread once i verify the new sizing for me.

RE: IHSH-430-BRN - Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Work Overshirt - Brownposted in Shirting
I typically buy 3X in work shirt cuts.
On this I went XXL and it’s about the same fit as the 3X UHFs which is what I wanted.Don’t intend to wear over a hoodie since it’s usually too warm in my area for that so this is spot on.
Size down from your UHF size if you want it to fit similar. Stay with normal size for the relaxed over a thicker layer fit

House slippers.
It’s already cold here and I had to toss the leather bottomed wool ones I had from kyrgies. They stank something awful and always felt moist. Tried everything to clean them and nothing worked. -

Been too long since I opened my wallet…snagged the last XXL as it was closer to the 3xl work shirts I normally get. Turned out it was the last one. Sorry yall!

RE: The Great Outdoors - Hiking and so on…posted in Hobbies and Pastimes
Heading to Acadia national park in a few weeks. Anyone got any recommendations for trails or interesting stuff in the park? We hike between 10-20 miles in a day but we are skipping camping this trip to have a bit more comfort the whole week.

RE: Gardening, landscaping and plants in generalposted in Hobbies and Pastimes
Harvested a fresh box of worm castings yesterday and added to one of my 3 raised beds. Started to clean the tops off of pine needles and weeds.
Repotted three thyme plants I started indoors in December, and got my seeds ready. Need to finish raised bed maintenance which will just be topping off some fresh compost as I follow no-till.
Going to be planting some flowers for fresh cut this year for my girlfriend on top of all the food. Also trying to get a spot in the community garden to grow stuff that’s just space consuming.

@Alex totally fine - I’m holding my 21s hoping I can get back into those soon since I had worn them for a few months all fall

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answerposted in The Resource Centre
@Alex will be looking for some new 888s which breaks my heart. Didn’t even get to wear a couple pairs more than once last year. However the medical issue was a bit more pressing to resolve.
I’m thinking 14-17oz will be what I’m looking for on restock this go around.
-
RE: Random questions to which you seek an answerposted in The Resource Centre
I feel like there used to be a calendar of potential restock dates, but I could be wrong. Does this exist? None of my pants fit after sorting some medical issues last year and I’ll be needing to upsize.

@Mister_Brue thank you! It’s really hard to put “art” in front of people who may not like what you do.
Been painting for just a year but I feel I’ve kind of found my way with it. I started collecting a second army while I wrap up the last bits of this one and continue learning how to play. -

@drewfonse
Can confirm. I had gotten a couple pairs of 35W thinking the approx 1” stretch would de me perfect. And it did…until I gained back some lost weight. I’ll be sizing up for a comfort fit right out of the gate going forward. No point risking inability to wear something bc I put a couple lbs back on after a year -

I’ve got a bunch more I just need to find photos from. Basically have painted up about 2500 points worth of world eaters at this point in time

RE: Anyone here play video games?posted in Hobbies and Pastimes
@GardenState
If you like 40k at all you’ll probably enjoy it. It’s more rpg oriented than space marine 2 which I considered a standard hack/slash/shooter.Since my primary game of destiny 2 seems to be coming to a quick end after so many years, have been looking at other things out or coming out. Helldivers is still fun to jump into with the homies a few times a month but I’m really interested in wukong as well as the Indiana jones game.
I haven’t been playing much as I’ve been spending a ton of time painting my 40k models and playing that when possible.

@stitchdown-shell
I have these (regular fit) and I wear them insanely too much. They are a fantastic fabric that breathes extremely well. -

Maybe in 2025?
I’ve been on the hunt for my size as my girl and I want to elope next year, and this vest is my planned “suit” for the event.

Been a while friends - life’s been busy and I was taking a break from the internet and shopping however - I picked up a pair of the wool charcoal houndstooth French Work pant and hot damn I love my grandpa vibes

RE: Booksposted in Hobbies and Pastimes
@Inorganic I finished it quickly…not because it was amazing, but rather I just wanted to get it over with. I hate not completing books. 3/10 do not recommend it.
I started this last week as my first audiobook. I needed something to be background noise while I’m painting my plastic army men and this feeds the lore behind my army.

RE: Booksposted in Hobbies and Pastimes
This was a store clerks recommendation. Honestly I have no idea what I’m reading. It’s essentially a dark,twisted fairy tale, but the author is one of those “let me just use a thesaurus as part of the material” types.
