Hey fellas, kinda a silly question. This hoody that’s dropping tomorrow is no doubt aces, but I don’t ride. What’s your opinion of a non rider wearing this, big time larp or acceptable?

@Bobcat-Sig awesome. I think the uhr is my favorite denim so far from IH. It’s unlike anything else. Mine started around a 33.8 and I got it down to a 33. After the recommended washing process, I hot washed it again. I felt after I did this the denim took its true texture and fit. With how heavy the denim is, I wish it will still go down another quarter of an inch, but it’s still very wearable. (Tdlr I think even if the waist is exactly the right fit, the denim weight would still make it fall just a tad)

Coming in off the 409, this thing is butter. Using the Wabash for the work winter rotation. Really happy with it this far.

Incredible feel of these bad boys. First 14 oz. Really soft and light but tough. With high rise was able to size down into a 32.1 from my normal 32.5-33 fit. Side note, I’m amazed out this Tochigi belt is fully in stock. I know it’s not the quintessential square buckle but this thing slaps. Might post in that thread as well.

@Cymro hey, I just bought some 1955 od’s. In this fit did you get them hemmed? I’m kinda liking the bright stitching opposed to the stained hem it comes with

In the sample pictures, are they hemmed, which is making the yellow thread so bright because new stitching? @Alex

@Alex just re read your first post and read it a little wrong the first time. The original measurement of the 634’s were 32.5. Now they stretched to a 33”. So I’m still assuming that if I get a 31.9, they’ll stretch to at least a 32.5, but would be fine because the waist fit opposed to the hip fit

@Alex thanks for clearing that up. That definitely added to my original confusion on how to size these being that they are high wasted. Would you say that I could get away with a 31.9 (size 32) if I currently have a well fitting 634s that’s sized 32.5 since these have a higher rise?

@twinning Rudi should be wearing a 32 at most. 34 is crazy. I think the sizing confusion for this pair might make me skip it at this point. Ha

Excited for these. have a sizing question if anyone wants to chime in. I comfortably were a 33” waist measurement. I could wear a touch smaller but not too much. Would you go with the 31.9 and hope for the one inch of stretch or go with the 33.3 and hope it doesn’t get too loose in the waist? Or is this a pass because it won’t work. I have have a 32.5” 634 that eventually stretched to to a 33; that works well for reference.

Has a high rise straight leg with no taper, or at the very least the hem of 634, ever been made?

Post soak, first day of wear. The waist is great. Little pull up now and then just like any denim. Thanks for the insights @goosehd ! I’m enjoying them. Don’t think I’ve had a high rise since I was a kid, so getting used to them is interesting, but love the fit.
