Recently got into both ship John and iron heart. Really liking this Ramblin jacket, can’t wait for cooler weather so I can wear it and my first pair of 634’s I ordered!
Did some chorin today in the 90° weather. She’s loosenin up nicely.

Post soak, first day of wear. The waist is great. Little pull up now and then just like any denim. Thanks for the insights @goosehd ! I’m enjoying them. Don’t think I’ve had a high rise since I was a kid, so getting used to them is interesting, but love the fit.

Jack 10 and a Brickhouse. Saturdays are for little work, drink and a smoke and enjoying your IH purchases you got this week from saving up your nickels.

@dirtyframer that’s how you do it!
@goosehd That’s sounds about right, appreciate it! Life can be unforgiving, at least a pair of good relaxed jeans doesn’t have to be. Looking forward to them quite a bit. Didn’t want to miss out on the UHR run, this denim looks exceptional. Only other option for me was the 634’s that are gone now, can’t roll with the skinny/ slim 5’s and 7’s coming out next week.
@leathergato I hear you. I’ve been wearing it everyday since, not all day, and it’s starting to fit more like a glove. I try to keep in mind that, apart from the slimmer cut, the heavier fabric is in part what’s making it feel so restrictive. I’m guessing as it gets softer it’ll be more relaxed. And it has started to show that already. Also, it just depends on how you are planning on styling it. If you want layered or buttoned up primarily to fit like a jacket, it might not ever be exactly what you want, but as a shirt with a tank underneath, partially buttoned, there’s no other shirt that is going to look as sick as this one. That’s what I got it for, so even if it’s a little snug, that’s what I intended.
@goosehd Understood. Gave them a warm washer cycle last night. It def got the rest of the shrink out of them.
I bought both the duck and the blue mamba to wear them as shirts rather than shackets. (Indigo in medium, duck in L) 175 6’1”. It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for me.
@Mizmazzle ironheart uk shop. I think they have one more 33 available. I asked James he said it measures 33.8 in the waist
@oxenbenj dude! Glad it worked out man! And even better he is from your neck of the woods
@Mizmazzle not a problem my dude. The jump from 32.2 to 33.8 is crazy imo with just one size. It’s a difficult one to size
@Jord thanks Jord. Appreciate it. Yeah, I think that best case. Def better than undersizing
Excited for these.
have a sizing question if anyone wants to chime in. I comfortably were a 33” waist measurement. I could wear a touch smaller but not too much. Would you go with the 31.9 and hope for the one inch of stretch or go with the 33.3 and hope it doesn’t get too loose in the waist? Or is this a pass because it won’t work. I have have a 32.5” 634 that eventually stretched to to a 33; that works well for reference.
@pechelman damn that looks good. What you sippin on, vodka cran?
@kojimastreets Congrats! Olmec is for the victorious. Have a great weekend
