@Brock Did you do the sashiko repair yourself?

This is exactly what I do. I have no idea how many wears, soaks, or washes are on any of my jeans. I don't know how many pair I have. I don't wait a certain number of days to wash them when new. I put on whatever makes me happy that day. Maybe I repeat them for the next day or week or month. Maybe I don't grab them again for a year. I do what brings me the most joy that day, and I don't delay wearing a pair just because I'm "trying" to wear another pair more.

@roydub87 Personally I doubt it will use the 21oz denim because of the recent talk of how the mill that makes the 21oz can't keep up with current demand. Even IH themselves have said that reruns of popular items like the 805 overalls are not in the pipeline because they can't get the fabric. Seems unlikely they would stop making their own products and give them fabric up for a collab.

A random impulse pickup at Franklin & Poe. These have been my go-to pair for the past few months. Lots of soaks. Lots of machine washes. Some cold. Some warm. I love this fabric so much. The texture is unique, and I get stopped and complimented all the time. The first week, a guy working the smoothie place at the airport literally yelled from across the hall asking me to walk over so he could see them up close.

Luckily it’s only been 100° lately, so I figured XHSib was the right choice for date night.

The wife tagged along with me to Self Edge the other day and came away with her first IH piece; the BSPIH25-CPO. Today is her maiden voyage.

In light of the 666UHR drop, I’m curious if there are any additional cuts to be expected in this final run of UHR, or is the 666 the last of them?

@TheChef17 It makes me want it more. I’m not a fan of anything that could make hand warmer pockets less comfy or snag shirt cuffs, and I wouldn’t personally use those for storage.

Bummer of all bummers today. Tomorrow the wife and I were headed to the UK from Texas. We were to spend two weeks driving around England and Scotland, including attending Silverstone GP and Goodwood. It was her birthday trip. Gosport was my one request and I was so excited! However, it seems as though I may have gotten a little TOO excited and had a heart attack this morning. According to my surgeon and wife it’s apparently “not a good idea” to fly across the globe and go exploring the day after a heart attack. Super lame.

@guiltyparty I see the sampler set on their site is sold out. Any chance that's something they offer for their stockists to sell? I need a new summer scent but the wife is picky. I currently have a stack Creed samples that she's veto'd.

I just use all the brain space that was formerly taken up by people's phone numbers.

I presume you write it on the item somewhere like on the tag with permanent marker.
Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated from your experience.
