@dirtyframer
I work the button holes with a sharpie when I first get them. After that I have a rule that I undo every button every time I’m in the bathroom. By the end of day 2 it’s pretty easy. I keep the “all 4 buttons” rule until I can easily undo and redo each button individually while the others are still buttoned.
@CosmoSix5
If Goodwill is the alternative, just turn these into a vintage fade pair or a pair to experiment with. You could do a diluted bleach soak to lighten them up, or try some manual fade experiments like hitting them with a magic eraser on the creases while seated in different positions. Heck, you could turn them into shorts if you really wanted. You now own a pair that you can do absolutely anything to and not worry about. Silver linings and all that.
I have a pair like this that got bad lines all over the legs from hot machine washing right-side-out.
Finished the initial cold soak, then hot soapy wash in the tub, followed by several rinses. All with lots of agitation.
I was nervous about having my first 666 hemmed before I got to try them on, but I think the gamble paid off. Kinda feels like we nailed this one. Stoked to start breaking in my first XHSib!

@Denimhead-0
Glad someone else found it funny.
I think this might be my white whale. I told myself it was too soon after the pale rider. Probably a mistake

A follow and 5 comments a year on each thousand dollar spent
I like this. Here’s a terrible Hunger-Games-type evolution to your idea:
All of the IH staff are ranked from coolest to… well.
When loyal customers reach each new tier, they are rewarded with an IG follow and 5 random comments from the staff member associated with that level. The more you spend, the cooler the person that follows you.
Additionally, notable forum members, such as people who are sent samples to test fade (e.g. @Oaktavia), as well as Mods, are obligated as part of their agreement, that they must participate in periodic events such as special product releases or holidays. These events will include a purchaser’s name drawn at random to receive a follow and 5 comments from a predetermined notable forum member.
Lastly, each year Alex selects a customer of the year! That person receives a genuine photo of @Tago-Mago holding a sign printed on a white sheet of paper that says “you are customer of the year” , and WHILE he adorns a slight grin. The winner will be photoshopped into this photo before they receive it.
Just a point of note: I believe the sign should be printed in black helvetica font, with the year added in pencil so that the paper can be reused the following year.
If you haven't picked up on it yet, this is obviously a joke.
I’d love to see one of these in solid silver, where the “button” was part of the casting instead of the attached copper snap.
Personal opinion: Customer loyalty gifts should be a kind gesture of thanks; not a sales tool or lame marketing gimmick.
If I have to demand thanks, it ain’t genuine and I don’t want it. If there is one team on planet earth I trust to show genuine thanks when it’s appropriate, it’s the Iron Heart team. Y’all keep things genuine and we’ll keep supporting.
+1 on the sentiment of appreciating the guy who scraped and saved for his only pair of Iron Heart jeans just as much as the guy who bought a half dozen pair last year.
@Johnny-Bravvo
Boots + Stacking + No cuff, looks badass.
Long shot, but I got the itch and now I’m here with my hands out. If you have one and it hasn’t been getting much love, I promise to give it a good home.
Looking for a p2p over 23”.
@Tago-Mago
Is smiling allowed in Germany? I thought it was outlawed for being an inefficient use of energy?
@DeeDee85
Storm Rider
Soul Rider (blues music, soul… too much of a stretch?)
Cloud Rider (sounds like anime)
Wave Rider
Sea Rider
@DeeDee85 100% agree. I thought about including an indigo version in the post but I couldn't figure out which one to leave out and "The 5 Horsemen" didn't sound as cool. I also ran out of free AI images for the day. lol
EDIT: Strike that. The 5 horsemen! Because IH does everything extra.
Considering current production issues, and the difficulty to make these types of products, I figured why not ignore all that and throw out something crazy just for fun. Introducing the Four Horsemen. Pale Rider, Dark Rider (black/grey, unpictured), Rad Red Rider (Blood Rider?), and green? Okay green needs some work on the name.
I think it would be rad if the black, red, and green were all hand dyed with a little inconsistency in color from dark to light. Very dynamic!
One benefit to the dyed hides is that rejection should be much lower considering you aren’t totally dependent on raw materials being flawless to begin with (color wise anyway).
Anyways, thanks for checking out today's boredom project.

I'd buy pretty much any piece named "Sick Ass Panther."

And the only thing cooler than that tiger is a sick ass panther. And there's nothing cooler than a SAP.
@oreamnos Are you tucking this thing in? How did you wind up with that horizonal line of crocking across the back?
"Benchmade by friendly elves" might be the greatest tagline I've ever heard.
@freepickin Killer jeans. I have the same ones and they have been my favorite pair of jeans to date. The fabric is just wild in person! I have been stopped three times in public by total strangers asking about them.
@CosmoSix5 34/30, but I stuck with the 34 (actual 35) on these for a roomy fit. If they don't work for me, you could always use them as shorts!
