      Please suggest me how to store these jeans if I do not plan to use for few months.

      I have a couple of IronHeart jeans, Levis and couple other raw denims hanging unused in my closet for 6 months in similar condition during the pandemic but only 666s-18 developed a lot mould. ( It has been raining a bit here )

      Hi @gautamkrisna, I'am so sorry, but I just realized your question regarding the bracelet I'am wearing! Haven't been in the forum for a while and was today checking this thread.The bracelet is handmade in Hamburg by Talonmade…more details are on their website.

      Thanks.

      @Giles:

      We did not get anywhere near enough interest for either the 777 or the 888.  Given that, I know we would not get enough interest for a 666.

      By the way, I voted for 888, I mistook it for 666 for a min, I am wearing 666 happily and would like to stick to it in future. Please excuse and discount my 888 vote, sorry for the trouble.

      @Bris:

      Hey guys, wanted to get thoughts on the fit of my 634s tag 34.  Brand new out of the bag, they seem to fit great and the waist is perfect, which leads to my question. I’ve read plenty about 1” stretch on the 21 oz and worried they might stretch out too much. What do you think of the fit? Adam said these were the “biggest” tag 34 waist measuring 34.5 (I was thinking I needed closer to 35.5 after stretch so we went with this pair).

      It’s my first IH pair. Should I Size down to allow for some stretch, send them back for a “smaller” 34, or just rock them?

      Thanks in advance!

      I dont think 634S can get any better than this. If you wanted a slimmer cut, then you should look for a different cut rather than sizing this down.

      From my experience it stretches out a lot only if its too tight. When I purchased mine, waist was 34 which stretched close to 35.5 after 2 months use, but now I lost weight and wear a belt so after repeated washes it is now 34.5. It just molds to your requirements and looks perfect to start with.

      @Bulatik85:

      hi,

      could someone help me to understand:
      sometimes I see comments regarding denim, like: 1 year, 5 soak, 1 wash.
      what does soak mean in this case?

      i know that I have to do initial soak for unwashed unsanforized denim to shirk it to my fit and make it softer, which means to put jeans to warm water and then take it back.

      why then peopel do it 5 times? and it looks like they are doing it from time to time.
      sorry if it is a very stupid question…  ::)

      I have children around me so for Hygiene purpose I soak my jeans every 10 wears with gentle agitation in Dettol water. That effectively removes accumulated dust and sweat, I can tell it is effective because of color of water turning brownish. Jeans come out bit brighter and cleaner but donot loose much color, if you want to preserve color even more you can add vinegar in the water. I wash my jeans once ever 3-4 months when I think I have used it enough in warm weather or is accumulating stains.

      I also like the fade patterns of jeans that are washed a few times.

      @UnTucked:

      After digging around and doing some more research, from what I can see, Seiko will be discontinuing a few of the more popular models (SARB017, SARB031, SARB033 to name a few), all of which were in the running to go in my "noob watch collection". This info has been floating around for months, but I guess I just hadn't noticed or paid attention. I cam across it last Friday as I was browsing the webs for an Alpinist, and started to notice that there aren't many places to have them in stock.

      Deliberating if I should get a new one now, before the chance is gone forever…..

      You definitely should get one if you are on the fence. I got a SARB35 for 318USD in June now they are selling for 450 and upwards with most of the places out of stock already.

      I do remember, I’m glad it worked out well!

      @xtcclassic;

      I am glad that I took your advice and stuck to it. i have one of the best fitting pair. Also glad that I did not go for the XHS instead in the Summer  ( I was leaning to XHS before I consulted to you ). Appreciate.

      I am interested in getting a 666S-21 a few months later after summer passes but I am concerned that it has even slimmer thighs @ wider waist. Do you have any experience.

      My Out of Box measurements W34:
        Waist : 34.4
        Rise : 10.8
        Hip  : 21.7
        Thigh : 12.2
        Knee : 8.9
        Hem : 8.2

      Measurements after 2 months wear, 2-3 wears in a week along with other pants in rotation. Gently warm/hot hand soaked 3-4 times so far :
        Waist :35.5
        Rise : 10.8
        Hip :  22.4
        Thigh: 12.6
        Knee: 8.9
        Hem : 8.2

      From your fit pics, the pair looks too tight and uncomfortable as per my taste, but its your call that really matters. I would usually choose a pair that is not too uncomfortable even to start with. You can expect .5 inch stretch in the thigh and a little more in the hips.

      Here are some fit pics after 2 months of reasonable use in rotation with other pairs. I cant wait to machine wash this pair. I usually wait for a few months for the creases to set in before a machine wash to clean up all the starch and enjoy the smoothness.

      Btw, this pair is very breathable, not too bad for summers at all.

      @Crash84:

      Hi Guys

      A quick question and fit check please. Just got these in size 33, and the waist is perfect - fitting but not too tight. The top block though, especially the thighs, is quite snug/tight. Maybe due to the crunchiness of the denim.

      Any idea how much stretch the 18oz denim gives?

      Same here, I had perfect waist so I used a belt, hence there was hardly any waist stretch. However my thighs were quite snug and have seen .5 inch stretch exactly and now its quite relaxed.

      If you are looking for over .5 inches stretch, you need to return. But.5 is easy in one week of wear.

      (I never posted my pics here, will today soon)

      @Alex:

      Suggest you ask @adam to measure the tag 34s for the smallest waist measurement. We will be restocking soon as well

      I did check about a month back and did not find a good pair so I got a 666S-18 instead, I will get my next pair after I am done with my 666S-18 honemoon.

      @Giles:

      Guess why?  Yep, I designed them for me.  If by happy coincidence, you are a similar shape to me, then you're in luck, if you aren't sorry.

      Too bad, you could rather make something for yourself any time.    😉

      @Giles:

      We obviously strive for consistency across the same cut type, but this is not an exact science and sometimes we really screw up.  But we try to play that to ours and yours advantage, by having variance in sizing across the same cut in different denims, or indeed the same cut in the same denim, we can find a pair that suits more people….

      …. That makes sense, but you should consider uping 666S-21's thighs by a bit for the masses and get an exclusive custom pair with gold lining for yourself. ... thats just my thought, but you are a better judge. 😉
