@Mizmazzle it seems remarkably similar to the 21oz, and yes I would say it does stretch like the 21oz, mine has also shrunk a bit as well too. I think I've lost about .75-1" in the inseam but I'm also a bit laissez-faire with my washing parameters

@roydub87 I think they look awesome! Those bad boys got a ton of texture to them. I also love the lighter color of stonewashed jeans, but I've always been too afraid to trying bleaching. I applaud your courage!

@Mizmazzle I don't know what size you are, but they're still floating around at some retailers like Self Edge!

@Giles Don't think I could have gotten a better compliment than that. Thanks Giles!

Another wash. I love these pants/material and to be honest I'm a bit surprised there aren't a lot of people putting work into the 21oz serge stuff that dropped last winter. These things are fade monsters.

@Go-For-Chill i'm supremely tempted by the S3000XX17oz-SDS, I've been thinking about it ever since I tried it on at self edge months ago, and if I've ruminating this long it probably means I should just buy the damn things. Have you gotten much shrink in the inseam or stretch in the waist with the murasame fabric? It seems like slubby and neppy fabrics stretch a bit more than normal denim but I might be wrong. How do you like your pair?

Another +1 to the 634 ride or die club. Well, the 1955 can hang too

@Luijim78 you normally wear an 8.5D and you are looking at an 8.5? I would wait and size down to at least an 8, and you could probably wear some thicker socks and an insole with that. That's probably not the advice you wanted to hear though with what's on hand!

Oh yeah! My white whale. Finally found a pair of black horsehide caspers basically brand new in my size. A bit of a nerve-racking experience because I ordered them off buyee and seems like the sizing is often questionable on these, but I'm glad I did my homework because I luckily nailed the fit. These are 6H and I usually wear sneakers in 8, sometimes 7.5. can't wait to turn these guys into patina monsters.

RE: IH-101J-SR - 18oz Selvedge Denim Storm Rider Jacket - Indigoposted in Jackets
@Oaktavia yeah dude, this is just my opinion of course but the blanket lined jackets (especially if you size it a bit to have room underneath to layer) are 100% the move for me from this point forward. Checks all my boxes of what is comfortable, warm/functional and what fits my style/figure. Once these preferences are dialed in, nothing left to do but smile smile smile!

What a flippin' beauty this one is slowly churning out to be. I'm really blessed to have some really great jackets, and this guy is certainly one of them.

Such a great cut, so stoked to see it pop up in different fabrics. Looking forward to eventual day when a black version of the 1955 cut drops, like a 21oz SBG or 14oz bb or even an overdyed.

RE: There's no Such Thing as a Stupid Questionposted in Some Really Boring (but useful) and Some Really Interesting Stuff!
@Pinkpan not super applicable for shirts, but for jeans I bought some little leather patch fade logs and I store them in the little "change" pouch on the right pocket, and I take them out, mark with a a sharpie & put them on my dresser before bed at night so I can tell if I remembered to do it or not. The only problem is one of them fell out of my pocket once! So the aesthetic is nice, but digital certainly works better if you can remember to do it.
