Every once in a while I wish I went with a 44 instead of 42, but then 10 minutes later I love this size. The arm holes are a liiiiiiiittle snug is the only issue I have.

Couldn’t wait LOL. Had to confirm the 888 fit cuz I want to potentially buy more before the fall and this is my first pair. Really pleased with how these turned out post soak/wash. Love the weight and feel of these right from day one. Gonna have to rotate them in until summer heat is too much.

I did 30 min soak and significant hand agitation with water as hot as I could possibly tolerate. Hot hot. Did lots of agitation. Drained. Refilled with fresh hot water. Repeated 3 times.
Drip dry.

Legit shrinkage that I was hoping for.

Hey everyone! I'm Devin - based in Maine. Recently got back into the denim scene after I lost some weight and pulled out an old favorite pair of Levis's with amazing fades that I'd totally forgotten about. Put em on and it was game on. Got me searching and learning (and buying!) again so here I am! Just got a few pieces of IH and love them. I've been part of other online communities (watches and guitars) and am excited to get to know this group. Love all the info and sharing I see here.

Pretty cool evo and character on this 9526PJ considering it’s technically a non-fade. I freakin’ love this thing. It goes from black to a super dark midnight blue at times. Thought this light was cool.

Fresh out the paper bag! This is an XL. Fits a touch tighter than my XL type III Superblack (tho the measurements were darn close) but the XXL measurements on these looked a little too big for my liking. I tried a thin layer under it and it worked.
What do we think!?

Snagged a pair of these second hand. Been wanting em ever since I sold the 888s that didn’t quite fit. First pair of 666s. Gotta say I’m diggin’ the devil’s cut! Felt a little snug in the top block at first but they’re falling into place. Nice on a cool summer night by the grill …

@Heritage_Guy this is awesome. I’m a huge OG Dead head and one of my delights was seeing how many others are here on the forum as well. Caught quite a few shows back in the day with Jerry and still listen to em everyday. Was thinking of starting a Grateful Dead thread, but this is prob better with a little wider net. Thanks for starting it!

Picked this up second hand and wanted to show off the evo on it so people can see. I haven’t see that many fade photos of this shirt. I love a fade project but also pretty cool to get something already full of good character. And yes that’s a repair on the elbow. Not sure if IH did it. Will send more photos on repair thread.

I recently picked one of these up second hand and have fallen fully in love with it. They are bad. ass.

BUT .... I have some questions about the button holes. Many of them see to have extra threads and frayed edges. The very bottom one is clean, but the others all have a little something going on.

Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Should I repair it? Do it myself? Send it off somewhere? Cut it away? Anyone else also see this? I've seen a little of this before on other jackets but not quite to this extent.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What’s behind the decision to go with the white twill pockets? Why not the same black denim as the jacket itself? (This is what’s done on my other IHJ 9526PJ for example).

Not saying I dislike it or not (and I dig the crocking) - just curious what went into the decision.
