Hey, no I only have 555 jeans in a couple of different fabrics. I’m aware the 727 is based on the 888, but is the rise on the 888 similar to the 555 given its medium/high? I know the fabric differs and the 555 has a slimmer profile throughout. Also, self edge have 727 chinos (I think) that they refer to as straight taper (which I’m aware is one of their denim cuts), have I read this incorrectly, or are their 727 different from 888 inspired ones?

Hi everyone. I own a couple of pairs of the 721 (based on the 777) but would I want to get the 727 in the same size as the 721 or size up/down?

How much for the riders jacket and what product number is it? Do you have the measurements for it also?

@Slash ok so my thoughts had been to go with a 32 which is one up from my normal 555 size this has given me food for thought. Thank you for your reply mate, appreciate it

@Slash what size did you go for in these? Did you size up compared to your 555s? Have they stretched a little with wear? Sorry for all the questions - just your fit looks absolutely on point perfecto

@John-Galt yeah I saw the oiled suede version - which do look cool - but I’m feeling the cxl leather ones just purely for how they age

@John-Galt those look so good. Been looking for a pair of rolling dub caspers but getting hold of a pair in black is a nightmare - not to mention the apparent sizing lottery too. You might just have sent me off to fill that Casper shaped hole…

First IH shirt that isn’t a UHF and what a wee belter! Lovely and soft; thick and substantial feeling but different from the way the uhf feels. Love that it looks like a denim shirt from afar but isn’t and that it looks like cord but it isn’t - it’s in a class all of its own

Some new to me 555s along side my own pair of five year old 555s. Loving both for different looks, different events, different fades too

I just got my pair through the post from R&H yesterday. I think I first considered these as a potential option for work a couple of years ago (maybe 3) so they’re something of a grail purchase for me and wow, they are something else. Sized up one from my 555s and they’re perfect. I have had chinos from a few different brands over the years and always associate chinos as a soft sort of laundered fabric almost fluffy/moleskin/twill depending on the brand but to call these simply chinos is, I think, a disservice to them (but isn’t that kinda always the way with this IH gear? It’s never just a pair of jeans/shirt/jacket; it’s always something extra, aknots intangible and of the utmost excellence). There is definitely the cut and pockets etc that you’d expect from a chino, but the fabric is more akin to a work pant like dickies or carhartt but with a lustre and comfort that puts those others in the shade. And obvs they are bulletproof in terms of construction and hardware and then that spicy wee flash of selvage. Delicious.
