@FOXY Never had an aged Riesling myself but I do really like a nice mineraly Riesling so I am pretty jealous of that one

Less jealous of the sherry vinegar...

I can imagine some of those '99s will be excellent, so hope you enjoy

@foxy01 Accidentally aged wine is such a serendipitous joy - I got given a couple of bottles of cheap red blend that my gran had never got round to drinking since 2004, and drinking them in 2026 was amazing, really rich almost sherry like flavours from what would have probably been a very mediocre wine back in 2004.

Seems like you had a good time though! What was in the slow cooker?

It's a lovely bit of design - I've got an entry-level bean to cup at home and although it makes good coffee it certainly isn't going to win any design awards. I looked into getting a manual grinder back when I was using a moka pot/Aeropress, but I must admit I do like being able to wake up, jab two buttons, and have a machine pour espresso into me without lifting a finger

@Chap I thought this was some sort of Japanese super-hazy IPA until I realised this was a brown ceramic mug...two coffees in and I've still not woken up it seems

@AdamJ can't say I'm a fan of this ...horological object... it's almost a watch but not one I would want to drop money on haha

@Danimal506 I think if I was gonna get another G-Shock I would probably get that one, tough solar, radio control, and still looking good after 10 years of daily wear - what's not to like looks good man

Thought I'd share my humble Casio in this thread - It's an A1000 that was screaming out for a NATO strap instead of the super garish milanese that came with it. Full stainless and mineral glass but looks like a classic F91, if you know you know This is probably my go-to watch 90% of the time tbh

@Tago-Mago 100% agree on Gutmann, I've never seen it in the UK which is a real shame
