I'm a bit of an unabashed tool whore. One of my many hobbies is building fine bamboo fly fishing rods which requires absolute precision.

@Mizmazzle I build bamboo fly rods and find the history behind certain makers fascinating. As such, I own and enjoy most books on the topic of bamboo fly rods. The recent book "A Fly Rod With Soul" by Per Brandin about Powell rods is fantastic - highly recommend if you are interested in the topic. As for the more traditional fly fishing related stories, the works of Jerry Kustich are at the top of my list. It just so happens that he was/is heavily involved with Winston and Sweetgrass.

Great photos @Jett129 and @ChaseD
@ChaseD what camera is that your shooting with? I don't recognize the waist level finder, I shoot with a Hasselblad sometimes and love using WLF cameras in general. It's a Rolleiflex 3.5F with an upgraded ultra bright screen. One of my favorites. Great work with your Hasselblad! I shoot mostly B&W, and with the looks of things coming down the pipeline from Kodak on price increases on color, it's likely to stay that way

Thanks,I'm kind of going for a Funhouse mirror effect. I've printed some on aluminum which is really cool. If you're on Instagram check out #reflectionsinchrome. Almost everything there is from me.
Neat stuff! Thanks for sharing.

Picked up a good old Webber Kettle off the Facebook market place last spring along with a Slow N' Sear insert for next to nothing. This dang thing has been the best $50 I've ever spent. I'd love to get something like a Kamado Joe…but I find it hard to believe that it's going to be 40x better.
Today called for a slightly smoked reverse seared Tri Tip.

I'll have to give that one a listen. My only qualm with Huberman is his podcasts tend to be LONGGGG. Make for great road trip listening.

@sabergirl I am indeed referring to film, but you do bring up an interesting thought about "real" cameras versus phones. Spending entirely too much time and money on cameras and my basement darkroom is a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm mostly in to photographing automotive related things and my kids.

Just out taking some photos of the recent snow storm. Luckily these 21oz 555's keep me warm.

New member from central Nebraska USA here. Been in to raw denim for the past 8 or so years, but only recently picked up some Iron Hearts in the last year or so. Good stuff! Wanting to pick up a few flannels now. Aside from denim, I'm in to analog photography, fly fishing and bamboo fly rods, and 1970s Honda Scramblers.

About 3/4 through the book, “The River Why” by David James Duncan. Absolutely incredible work. If you love fly fishing (or any form of fishing) ,philosophy and humor this book is something special. Anyone read this one?
YES! This is a great one. I have a large collection of fly fishing books and this one is near the top.

Just picked up a pair of these from Berkley Supply in Denver. They are the softest, most comfortable jeans that I own.
