Lay the shirt flat in barely warm water in a bath tub with some Woolite Dark, leave for half hour or so, rinse in the tub with cold water. Drip dry outside. Smell gone but the denim shouldn’t look prematurely machine washed, hopefully retaining some of that new sheen.

Love this mod. I switched the case and strap from stainless steel to the DLC Porter one, module is the GMW-B5000D 2. Not been able to get a good picture of the colour until the sun came out today.

Short lived indeed. Woke us up at 5, then 6, then 7. Breakfast and dinner before anyone else, prime spot in front of the fire, repeat tomorrow.

Candiani Denim shop. Very refined and stylised Italian denim, friendly chaps in the shop very enthusiastic about their products.

No problem.

I sized down from my medium western shirt size to a small, the shoulders always felt too tight and I found that after a while the seams contracted a bit and made the sleeves look short. I bought a medium the following year and it’s a huge improvement, way more comfortable, fits quite wide and loose like an m65 should.
