Double rye - it makes a glorious old fashion as well as a Manhattan with some bite when mixed with Cochii as opposed to traditional vermouth

Had the good fortune to meet and hang out with Dave Perkins,who founded High West,on 3 occasions. He sold the company and then they bought/kicked him out and,in my opinion, some of the products have suffered because of that. The new product development has come to a screeching halt. The Double Rye is a good value as a mixer. Their Rendezvous Rye used to be killer,but they changed the recipe. Don’t feel bad for Dave as he walked away with 126 million.
