IH-666S-19IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo/Black
Our slim straight 666 "devil's fit" cut jeans in a 19oz indigo warp/black weft selvedge denim. The warp is indigo rope dyed, the weft is black sulphur dipped, and these will fade over time with high contrast as the indigo abrades exposing the white rope-dyed core against the black weft.

Don’t need new jeans but while I’ve never thought of the 666 as my best cut, I do find myself reaching for, and feeling good in, my 666-XHS and 19L. I had my 666D on yesterday too.
All that combined with the bloody lovely denim means if the measurements work I may be adding another pair to the collection [emoji51]

@neph93 It’s funny, when brand new the 666’s are not mine either. However, after 2-3 months wear, they are absolutely perfect!
I rotate occasionally back to 634’s and my 888 Namo Tako and within a day miss my broken in 666’s.
My two favourite cuts are 666’s, and the Beetle Busters (really wish they would come back).

That pretty much covers my experience too. I have a newish TTS pair of IH-888-XHS that I think I will have the same relationship to. They are not broken in yet and are the main argument against me picking up these.
The BB’s were great. I still have my SBG pair and love them. The combination of a trimmer top block but with the extra inch or so of rise was brilliant.

Hey guys have a question for ya seasoned vets. Gave my 19oz their first wash the other night and got some pretty good leg twist in the left leg. Is this unusual for a RHT? I know with the LHT it’s definitely possible -
Leg twist is a result of a twill (denim in this case) weave. It does not matter if it is left hand or right-hand twill, its natural inclination will be to twist. It is simply a natural adjustment of the fabric, which tends to follow the direction of the weave as the fabric moves or shrinks after washing. It can be lessened by post weave skewing.

Gotcha, ya for some reason I was thinking it was more common in LHT. Seems weird to me these would twist though since their sanforized and I’d assume a preskewing process is used?
