Normally @Madame Buttonfly would buy a monster. This year has been a little different, so she got a small one. It arrived, the one on the left, and the top section was bust, so she bitched and they sent us another….
Just potted on into half-decent pots, and watered.
They'll come inside at some point soon….

Living on a popular “Christmas Lights” block, my tradition is cussing at all the ignorant c**ts who don’t let regular traffic through! It’s pretty and all but….

Finally put the tree up, some close ups of some of my favorites, a lot from UK. Then I have to close the door due to two pesky cats that think the tree is their toy. Next holiday tradition is Christmas Day Prime Rib roast.

Our second traditional advent dinner is pork rib with white sausage, sourkraut, stewed apples and prunes, and so on. Very fatty, very good.
The rib prep starts two days before with scoring and salting, then it is a four hour slow cook. The rest of it is very straightforward. Just add family.
