Any (Lichess) chess players here?

One could certainly argue it’s no real sport, but I figured it fits best here:
Are there any chess players on the forum?

I’m a better handball/basketball player for sure, but I have always loved to play chess to not leave the muscle in my head behind. 
I’m a ~1800 player and unfortunately everyone I know playing chess is either way too weak or the opposite.

I've just started playing on chess.com in the last few weeks. I'd be far too weak for you, but I'm loving the game and was curious if anybody here played.

Finally someone responding to my post after 2 years
I would have guessed there was a higher overlap of chess x denim, like with coffee, bikes, etc…
But that doesn’t seem to be the case

Getting started is the most important. I found the learning curve to be quite steep up to I’d say 1700/1800

I’ve not played on chess.com but only heard good things. Maybe I should go create an account,
so we can play a game or two.

I started playing Chess in January and am still very much a beginner. After 5 or 6 weeks of playing, the game is starting to make a little more sense to me, and I was wondering if anybody here played (or is interested in learning with me).
