Definitely up there in the great three piece bands.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience might be a little higher up on my list.

Keen to hear what other three pieces people enjoy (excluding Nirvana).

Watch the video, it shows what a gent Clapton is.

I was lucky enough to attend the Jeff Beck tribute put on by Clapton at the RAH. The amount of guitar egos that could have been trying to outshine each other, but Clapton took a back seat. It was classy.

I don’t know why but I feel like I have to defend my Semisonic pick. When I was in college there was a band called Trip Shakespeare that used to come and play at our local college bar “The Blue Note”. The were great live and my friends and I became big fans. When they broke up, Dan Wilson went on to form Semisonic before becoming quite famous as a hit songwriter for some big artists. Anyway, love Semisonic

@SKT I feel like I know the name Trip Shakespeare. Is that even possible. I saw Cream In a college auditorium right after Disraeli Gears was released. Absolutely mind blowing. Saw them during the reunion tour, and was surprisingly impressed with how good they still were. Especially that cunt Ginger Baker. I had the misfortune to meet him,and if he was on fire,I wouldn’t piss to put him out.
